I hadn't read any of Neil Anderson's books before even though I was well aware of his works. I've been on a journey this past year coming to understand who I am in Christ. I've discovered that it is only in discovering who God is and who I am in His Christ that transformation of your mind can begin to take shape (Rom 12:2)Anderson's concise and Scripturally sound work is a powerful addition to the "Who I am" volumes of work that are found in both Christian and secular bookstores. It comprises 36 3-4 page readings based on a Scriptural truth of God's love and our position in relation to Him. Each reading typically references a situation he has come across through his counselling and responses to his many books. These add context and practicality to his thoughts on the verse. Each reading ends with a prayer.It is organised into 3 parts: Our Acceptance in Christ, Our Security in Christ and Our Significance in Christ.It's an excellent and well written book and on finishing it I have started on it once again. I take one of the 36 chapters per day and allow myself to mediate on its contents during the day.Highly recommended especially if you're grappling with understanding your position in Christ.

Having been a Christian most of my life, the ideas in this book challenge my understandi g of what is really important.

I’m not quite finished reading this but it has revolutionaized my faith already. I’ve been a believer since childhood but spent years tying to make sense of God’s love, mercy, and who I am a a Christian—all in light of the forces of this world. Anderson does a phenomenal job of making heads and tails of all this. In the intro he says the two most foundational truths a Christian can know are 1. A true understanding of who God is 2. Who I am in Christ. I’ve never heard or read these foundations laid out clearer or more articulately than in this book. My wife and 14 year old son are now reading it as well. Highly recommend to every Christian or anyone who is exploring what it means to be a Christian.

I never realized how many years I was believing and fed lies in my life. No one taught me any differently and explained with such honesty in light of God's Word! I had many of these lies that I now know how and when to renounce. It will take reconditioning of my mind daily but I will believe the truth because I want to be able to tell this eye witness account of how God brought me out of captivity of fear into the courage of His truth and my new identity.

Excellent book. I went through Bondage Breaker & now read this daily and whenever I have idle time. It’s fantastic for keeping my mind in the things of Christ. This book plus O. Chambers’ My Utmost for His Highest are essential daily readings for my spiritual health. Neil T. Anderson’s writings have been such a huge blessing to me & brought me much freedom in Christ.

I have struggled in my walk to keep in front of me Who I Am In Christ, and Neil Anderson has crafted a field guide that defines our position in Christ. While I feel he falls short of drawing the reader into his little examples and poems, I absolutely devoured his teaching content. This is a book to keep close by for those moments when doubt attempts to steal your identity!

Who I Am In Christ is clearly written and heavily supported by the scriptures of the Holy Bible. I hope to lead a bible study using this book as soon as I finish my personal study of it. Using the Word of God and many years of experience in ministry, Neil T. Anderson does and excellent job helping the reader find freedom from bondage and abundant life in Jesus Christ. I am grateful to him for his hard work and perseverance.

Read this book, devour and absorb it. It will greatly impact and change your life for good. An essential read.

Great self help book and a great essential foundational book for all new Christians as well as those who have been going for longer and for whatever reason need some general encouragement or even help with identity issues.
