I have a collection of these books my favorite to read to kids

I was a little confused when the story took a religious turn. I was expecting that from one of my most beloved childhood favorites. So yeah… notice the fine print.

Very cute book for Valentines. Brother Bear gets an Anonymous Valentine before the big hockey game. It turns out that the Goalie on the other team is a girl. We don't know this until the game is over. There is a page of stickers about half way through the book.Yes, this book does mention God and has angel bears with wings, halos, and harps. While it isn't over the top there are some people who have been offended by the slightly religious nature of this book.The Berenstain Bear books are now written by the son, Mike. Stan and Jan died some years ago. This book and others written by Mike are published by ZONDERKidz which publishes Living Lights Berenstain Bear books to "help children learn how God wants them to live everyday." This is the statement on the back of the Valentine Blessings book. If you don't want a religious Berenstain Bears book you need to check to see who published it before you buy.

Always teaches a lesson with story.

Our little toddlers love this story. Love that these have such positive messages about god in them

My 3rd graders loved this book!

I loved reading the Berenstain Books to my kids .. now I’m reading them to the grandkids I love that the books have fun stories in them , but also weaves a message in about kindness , forgiveness , generosity, etc that is relatable to children .

What child doesn’t like the Bernstein Bears,? My 3 year old grand daughter loves having her mother read this book to her before she falls asleep. They have very good values within the pages of this book and that is why I have always bought their books.

References to Bible verses and God. This was not what I expected for a valentines children’s book.Outdated stereotypes of elementary school age boy and girl relationships.

my two year old loves this book. The illustration is bright and colourful! Bonus is it comes with cute book themed stickers!

Good valentines present
