The foam feels soft, almost like a cream cleanser upon initial application on skin with slight cooling effect. As I rubbed it around my face, I thought it might leave residue (similar to using cream cleansers). I was pleasantly surprized after rinsing that my skin felt supple and well cleansed and balanced.
