Good evaluation of Joan Littlewoods' Theatre Workshop
Excellent evocation of Joan Littlewood's importance in the role of British Theatre post 1945...

Another college course book for poverty-stricken offspring
My daughter needed this for her college course. As far as I can tell, it has been well-thumbed. The price was certainly good; and delivery prompt.

Five Stars
Well written, really informed me more about the history behind the theatre.

An excellent account
This is a first class account of Theatre Workshop from its origins to its decline - it's also a very good read and is a must for anyone with an interest in the theatre.

The real Theatre Workshop story is told elsewhere
This is a passable account but the real story of Theatre Workshop by a member of the company who was actually there right from the beginning is 'The Theatre Workshop Story' by Howard Goorney (this work is quoted in Leache's book). You can order it from Methuens: (...)Also on Amazon:(...)
