McVities Milk Chocolate Digestives 266g 9.38 Ounce (Pack of 3)

It's been many years since I've had a milk chocolate digestive and I know that when I lived in Scotland, this was always a treat with a wee cuppa tea.I found these and wanted to treat my tea buddy at work (who always provides me with a good PG Tips tea bag at will) to a nice wee biscuit from back home to authenticate her afternoon tea break - not to forget that I selfishly ordered the three pack so I could gorge the memory blast at home in front of the TV binging my Brit soap!Well shake me down and call me pepper!! Yummilicious! I would say that if you've never had one of these then it may be slightly odd, but no one yet has disliked them! I definitely enjoy this dunked in my hot cup of tea. The chocolate melts just enough and the digestive part takes on a slightly softer texture. Enjoyable.If this is one of your old favorites from the UK then nothing has changed. Still exactly the same as I remember from over 20 years ago!!Be sure to get the CHOCOLATE digestives as they do come in a plain variety - which I enjoy, but they need to be slathered in butter with a nice slice of cheese and a thin slice of apple if you're feeling fancy.Very enjoyable!

For some amazingly stupid reason, they shipped the cookies in a soft envelope with no protection. All I received were smashed and crumbled cookies. I suspect they aren't returnable. Total waste of a great product by sloppy shipping practices.

I love these and the original ones are fabulous too without the chocolate covering. Such a delicate texture. I encountered these in Ireland years ago and you could buy the plain ones at Walmart in the States but I can’t find them anymore. I was just in Ireland last month at my son’s house and we were enjoying the chocolate covered ones. Thank Heaven for Amazon!

This is a terrific brand of digestive crackers. Usually we buy the plain ones but these chocolate ones are addictive. Of course you need to be a fan of digestive crackers.

These are great British biscuits and taste fresh and as l remember them from England. The only problem is that Amazon sends them in an envelope and invariably they arrive in crumb form. This time there was literally zero padding/ they were just thrown in an envelope. Fully a third of them were in fine crumbs. It seems like a no brainer to me to ship these in a box and protect them. Heck l get so many almost unbreakable items wrapped well and sent in a box yet these cookies get sent unprotected in an envelope.

A very tasty cookie. reconmendable.

They arrived on time in 2 separate plastic bags and yet still managed to be wet, making them totally ruined. I’m so not happy about that.

We saw these biscuits being made in the United Kingdom on a TV series called Inside the Factory. They had such a strange name "Digestives" that we wondered what that tasted like. We wanted to give them a try and were pleasantly surprised that on Amazon we could order them and have them delivered in a day! Yum! Everyone in my family likes them and they are not real sweet which is a good thing for us. We have even ordered them a second time. We ordered the chocolate covered ones.
