Gold 'N HotProfessional Stove Flat Iron, 1-1/2 Inch, Large

so all I can say is my Afro-american wife loves this and has used it a few times with the (sold separately, but required) oven assembly. she plans to save money on her hair by going to the stylist less often. personally this device seems dangerous if you are even a little clumsy because the way the handle is designed without tension. It is not a device you would want to risk burning yourself, especially since this will be close to your face. "some people" will do anything for relief from price gouging by highly skilled ethnic stylist!

Exactly what I was looking for

My flat iron arrived today. The problem is when I received it, the plastic it came in was a little open at the top. Then when I took the flat iron out there was this brown sticky residue between the iron plates, a lot of it. There's scratches on the gold parts of the handle, How is that if its supposed to be secured in thick plastic, in which it wasn't. It seems like I got a used flat iron or something. I was going to buy the matching flat iron stove to the Gold 'N Hot flat iron but now I change my whole mind. I rather get my flat irons from the store from now on, unless this flat iron suppose to come with brown sticky residue??? Did anyone else's come nice and clean?

The handle grip was broken when product arrived. Also, this is not a product that I would use. I have been natural for almost 3 years. I had trouble straightening my hair as it is fairly course.

This was not what I Expected

I'm really use to using Kizure flat irons, so compared to others I've used this iron is not good quality. Nice price, but it is not glide smoothly down the shaft of hair. I stopped using it already. Other than that gold n hot usually has pretty good products.
