12" Waving Lucky Fortune Cat Maneki Neko Japanese Porcelain Lucky Cat

I’ve always been a fan of the Oriental lucky cat found in many shops overseas. Most are cheap plastic (is that redundant?) and not a fit for the other nice items I’ve collected overseas over the years. I ordered this one here on Amazon in hopes it would be nicer. What a great surprise to find it was gorgeous while maintaining the hand movement (aimed at my front door, stay out evil). I can recommend this as something with the appearance of quality.

I received the product, and when we inserted batteries it twitched up and down without really waving. It is broken.

Bought for my restaurant. It is a nice size cat , makes it visible from anywhere in the restaurant and is a nice quality unlike the other many cheap ones that I have bought in the past. Customers get a kick out of a waving cat. The kids love to rub his belly for good luck or give him high fives. As for it being lucky and bringing in money to business, only time will tell. Overall very satisfied.

Item arrived securely packaged. This was given as a gift for a grand opening of a business. The owners loved it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lucky cat.

My only complaints are that the Lucky Cat was not new (no cover for the batteries) and was not actually porcelain. Otherwise, it is in good shape and beautiful.

It says it is porcelain, but it is not, it is plastic, and the arm does not wave. It is crap.
