It's not monfilmic, very thin braided line easy to handle. Can't wait to get in the lake.
This is the perfect fishing line for a young boy. He loves to catch catfish. The Base run off with his line, ending his fishing trip, and he gets his hook and waits stuck in the rocks. He is strong and pulls his line up. - the line and weights. He is hopeing with the braided line that the 100lbs line can free up his hook and weights from the the rocks. We live in middle GA, and( Go Fish)Is his favorite thing to do once a month. The ranger is teaching him how to catch catfish, anywhere in GA. I know how to fry them if he brings one home of legal size.I think he might be on to something.I fished a lot as a child, oh I loved those bass but I was older too.Oh I can't wait to see how this line will be in the water. So far I am impressed with the lines lack of springing when his grandfather put the line on his reel.And the little guy didn't have any trouble with the line springing all over the place.

Quality fishing line
I usually stuck with one brand and stick with it until my next favorite line comes up. GEVICONT is one of my favorites lines now, I am a big fan of Powerpro and Kasking, GEVICONT is now right up there on my top 3. Most important of all, the price is very reasonable.

we shall see-update 2-25-19
I just spooled up black 50lb on my penn battle 6000. Wow what a mess! the line left a thick black residue on the glove I used to keep tension on the line. I hope it does not make a mess of my boat! I will report back on how it holds up! Seems like bleeder!Update 2/25/19Gevicont is replacing the line, due to fading issues. There seems to be no issue with breaking strength or stretch. They are replacing the line at no charge for the same strength but a different color. Gevicont seem to be a stand up company that cares about and stands behind there product.

Great Braid
This is my first braid I have used. I tried this because of other reviews. This is top quality braid. I would recommend it. Great price and quality. I will buy it again. And this company checks to see how you like it. You can not beat that. Thanks for a great product.

Color comes off while spooling
I haven't tested the strength yet, but when spooling it I hold it between my fingers for mild tension. The black in particular comes off on your fingers. Sticky, messy stuff. I contains some fibers as well and is a pain to get off the line as it balls up.If the color wears fast I'll update the review, but at this point I can't give it more than 3 stars.

Priced very well
Super fine for 10# line. Purchased this for Surf fishing for less line resistance from the Surf. Easy to tie, but really hard to cut with a knife or sissor’s. I would highly recommend a good pair of nail clippers. I am using this next weekend, so hopefully it does what I think it will.
