Better than a Dremel, so far
Just received this and given it a workout on some scrap wood to see how it would get on. I have a Dremel 3000 that has seen little use and is already starting to show signs of wear, not least unpleasant noises from the motor which they are known for. I bought this on a lightning deal, noting its higher power output (170W) and variable speed function. All being well it would also work with my existing Dremel accessories. The product arrives in a neat little plastic case, not to be sniffed at given the price. The tool itself feels well put together, and has a couple of notable improvements over the Dremel design; mainly your hands don't cover the vents when you're holding it correctly, and it includes a built-in hanger for use with the included extension shaft. The extension shaft is a very welcome inclusion and is as good as the genuine Dremel unit, though it's only really intended for light work in hard to reach areas. You also get a box of bigs for sanding, grinding, polishing and engraving. A reasonably comprehensive set, though 3mm Dremel bits are a dime a dozen these days so you'll probably want to pick up one of the huge multi packs to have on hand.So far I've used the tool with a sanding band and a set of mini router bits and am impressed. The unit has a surprising amount of power and torque for such a small tool, the router bits cut smoothly and effortlessly without needing to use the tool at its full speed as I would with my previous Dremel. And, as the icing on what is a very nice cake, the tool fits Dremel's own accessories including their mini saw attachment and plunge router which makes it even more versatile. For the price I can't fault this at all. Time will tell how long it lasts, but at £30 if it lasts a year or two I'll chuck it out and get another. It does look however to be better made than a Dremel, so it wouldn't surprise me if it lasts longer than expected.

very handy rotary tool
Wanted to have a small power rotary drill which could be used for multiple jobs.Package Content:1x Power Rotary drillSeveral attachment, can’t list them individually1x manualThe rotary tool comes in a hard case for an ease of keeping all the bits and bobs in one place and secured.I mainly bought the rotary tool for keeping the bathroom tile grouting neat and clean. It certainly did the job very well. Also wanted to make a square hole to fit in virgin media’s broadband splitter inside the existing skirting board. Used a standard drill bill first to make a hole and then used a circular bit on the rotary tool to cut it nice square cut. Since I haven’t used the cutter to make a square hole before I started on the slower speed and gradually up the speed, it was a smooth cut all the way through.I am sure eventually someday I can use the rotary tool for other DIY applications.NOTE: the rotary tool is very powerful, the minimum speed has a lot faster rotation than I had thought it would be.The product can be improved by having the on/off switch as a trigger switch which you find on a drill machines, you have to use other hand to shut it off. A trigger switch would be a plus point.I really hope you found my review helpful and would love for you to click on the “YES” button to say so. If you don't think my review has been helpful, before you click on the “NO“ button to say I was unhelpful, I would love you to leave me a comment with your thoughts, so I can try improving my future reviews

Really good price for a really good tool.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This rotary tool comes in a hard case, keeping it protected and all accessories tidy and safe. All clip in place. The big bonus with this, is the extension tool. It can bend around awkward corners and in small gaps. This was great for me as I was trying to clean up inside a suspension spring! The wire brush attachment worked a treat with the surface rust! Before I continue, I want to say that my video is just a demonstration of how it looks and works. You certainly should not take it as a lesson, as I am clueless! I may of been using the wrong tool for the job. This rotary tool had plenty of power and adjustable speed. It comes with lots of tool attachments, like a wire brush, grinders, cutters, sanders, polishing pads and engravers.Really good price for a great tool.

Power
I don't write comments anymore on amazon partly because after nearly 1,000 purchases it gets very tiresome but, i had to say a little something about this. If, like me, you have never used a rotary tool before be prepared to be gobsmacked. The power in this little thing is astonishing. What an amazing tool to have in your arsenal. I had to attach the extended flexible shaft for my very first use to get at some copper pipe that someone had also filled with no more nails, it sliced through it with no problems at all.Attaching the extended flexible shaft is quick and easy and it's a blessing for the hard to reach places. My next job after writing this is to sand down yacht varnish and i can't wait to do it with this tool.I'm currently making a list now for other things i can use the rotary tool on lol.

Household small projects
Good rotary tool with lots of attachments, very useful when you have something to fix or repair on your household.Used it recently to hang a door on it's frame and had to make all the cutting for the hinges and locks. Spent half of the time compared with a good old chisel and the result was on my expectation. For me, a good tool, definitely useful and easy to use
