I bought this to replace a necklace worn with a pendant my grandmother gave me. I was concerned the length would be too short, since I wanted to take it off from around my neck without having to undo the clasp, and I was easily able to do so, so I can't attest to the durability of the clasp mechanism. I've been wearing this for a few months now everyday, and it's still holding up strong. I wear it while jogging and mountain biking, and it hasn't broken. There's no discoloration on my skin, so that's always a plus =) It isn't a super shiny polish, which is perfect for me. This isn't really for other people to see anyways, I wear it under my shirt. The diamond-cut pattern is simple yet elegant. I should note that when I received the necklace, it was kinked pretty bad, and it took some twisting and turning to smooth it out, but it's fine now. Overall, looks good, feels fine against my skin, and is sturdy.

Well I was a little skeptical to order this necklace at first cause of some of the reviews saying they got theirs kinked and what not. But I took a risk and ordered it anyways......when I got the item it came in a secure box and it arrived super fast. Like really fast. I opened the box and took it out of the zip loc baggy and jewelry baggy it came in and it was super shiny and nice. My only regret was getting it in 20 inches, it's a little small but that was my mistake. I should've gone with a 22" or a 24". I'll probably order again and hand this one to my lady. It is diamond cut cause it sparkles like crazy when the sun hits so I don't know what people are talking about theirs being dull. It's a nice little peice to hold a small pendant and at a good price so I don't know what people are complaining about.....

I got the 2mm Sterling SIlver Diamond Cut with antiquing in 18" and in retrospect I would prefer a 22" since I would like to have it slip over my head. I love the chain though and the inking in sturdy. The 18" was reasonably priced, I know if I go to the 22 it will be more expensive, but maybe I'll go for it. I wish they would go on sale or they would give you coupons but that doesn't happen as far as I am aware. Yes, I recommend the 18". Looks great with my inked sterling silver filigree genuine stone pendants!

In August I purchased this for a hamsa charm to gift my husband on his birthday. He's a superstitious daredevil motorcyclist and for years has been wearing a series of low-quality plated charms and ball chains as protection against misfortune. I wanted him to have something of higher quality because, if wearing a hamsa does indeed ward off misfortune, I want to invest a little more than $2.99. He's been wearing this chain for five months now. It still looks as it did when he first put it on. He reports that it's comfortable and doesn't pluck at his hairs. As far as men's jewelry goes, it's not overstated but it won't go overlooked. It's just enough shine and heft to get the good kind of attention while simultaneously repelling the bad kind.

The chain is nice and shiny and it seems sturdy enough. For the money, it is a nice necklace. Haven’t had it on enough times to check whether it dis colors. I would be careful to put any perfume on first, before putting necklace on.

I just got my chain and it looks amazing with my pendent. It has a nice shine, smooth feel and no kinks. I gave it four stars rather than five because I want to see how it holds up. I will update my review in about a month. Oh also I received it in two days. So far extremely pleased. Update one month later it still looks Great! No kinks or fading. The last picture is a month later. I wear it in my sleep and only take it off when I shower. I haven't cleaned it, what you see is how well it maintained itself. Love it!!

I purchased this as an impulse buy. It was worth the money. The price is very affordable and the chain shines ALOT! The d/c is very well done. After a few months of constant wearing it daily; it doesnt shine as bright. I havent cleaned it properly but just wiping it off with soap and water brightened it up again. I think everyone should have a silver cleaning cloth when purchasing this product. Aside from that....THIS CHAIN IS DURABLE!!!!I've snagged it multiple times at work and it felt like my neck would snap before this chain would. At 2mms, it's very impressive to me. So I purchased 2 of them.
