Did not disappoint
I bought this to use with my son's 9U and daughter's 10U teams as well as for them to get extra swings in our garage. Although it takes some time to get it all put together the instructions were very clear and they even included extra parts (which was a blessing since one of the plastic clips that secures the netting broke. I think this is because the package had been sitting outside in the cold garage though.I was going to be on travel when the shipment was scheduled to arrive and contacted SwingAway. Although they weren't able to delay the shipment in time they were very quick to respond and at least offered suggestions.Once put together there was a short learning curve on all the adjustments and after one time packing it up for transport it was easy to repeat. This is a great way to get a lot of work in without the repetition of replacing balls on a tee.I would recommend filling the home plate with sand vs water to give it more weight. With water it kept creeping towards the net after a few hits (by me not my kids) due to the tension that exists in the lines that makes the ball reset.I have yet to use in a team practice yet but can't imagine why it won't be a success.

Expensive, Not Sure Worth the Price (slightly dangerous for little leaguers)
I was debating between buying the Pro Traveler and the Bryce Harper Model, and I probably should have gone with the cheaper one. I wanted the option of bringing the Swingaway to my son's little league games/practices but the danger of getting hurt (both of my sons smacked themselves in the head after their bats got tangled, I had to attach masks to their helmets) prevented me from doing that obviating the need for a mobile one.Another reason I wanted the Traveler was the ability to adjust the base. The Harper model looks more stable with the fixed pole, but you have to turn the pad to simulate hitting outside pitches. I emphasize opposite field hitting w my kids and the base with its adjustable spots seemed like a better choice. However, the base moves around a little bit too much, and now I am considering getting those astroturf like batter boxes to make it more stable.Pros: build quality is good; customer service was excellent (had to replace a part and they sent it to me immediately)Cons: base moves around a little too much (even filled it w 50lbs of sand); the bungee cords are not built to bring the ball down to adult knee-high level (which is belt level for my tballer).Initial impression: Would not recommend for kids under 5' without a helmet w a mask.

Works as described. My 12 year old loves getting his reps in.

Terrible quality product, buyer beware!
We purchased the original Bryce Harper Swingaway and our boys LOVED it. It lasted for three years and they probably practiced hitting with it at least an hour every single day. When it finally needed replacing, we purchased this model and couldn’t have been more disappointed. The cords broke first- within two weeks of purchase. Amazon sent replacements but those broke too. A third set was ordered and those also broke. Then the base bar snapped off. You can see the pic below. Keep in mind that this all took place within the first five months of owning it. Just an incredibly disappointing purchase. The original Swingaway is amazing. My boys loved it. Apparently the company doesn’t care about its products as this model is the worst quality possible. Strong recommendation to not purchase! Buyer beware!

I wish there was an easy way to reposition ball height for individual batters
I really don't know what I was expecting, but this training device is difficult to move. It is stored at my house and taken to practices. It takes 10 minutes to install and take down. We have found that undoing the ropes is the easiest way. I wanted heavy duty though and it is that. I wish there was an easy way to reposition ball height for individual batters.

My son loves it!
We have this set up in our garage and my son goes out in his spare time and works on his swing. He can get a ton of swings on his own. I also like the ability to work on inside and outside pitches. Great product!

Love this product
This is our 3 rd one to purchase. This one seems to be stronger. It’s the best thing we have found for practice

Four Stars
Good for hitting mechanics but ball kit should last longer

Looks better than it performs
I bought this as a teaching aid for a youth softball league. I found out later that you can order a softball instead of the hardball that comes with the set. The actual ball has already begun to show dents form being hit. The first unit came damaged and missing parts but was replaced immediately. It looks great in the video but does not perform as well as I hoped especially for the price. The home plate is interesting in itself to explain to young hitters where they may make contact with the ball. Filled with sand It has a bad habit of sliding every time the ball is hit. You will need to stake it down.I found that batters were confused when the net is turned for inside or outside pitches. It is heavy but the carrying case helps.
