I purchased two sets so that I can have multiple mounting locations. I was quite pleased with the strength and design of the magnets.Construction: there are 4 strong magnets mounted to a steel plate covered by a thick molded vinyl protecting cover. The steel plate allows a secure mounting in addition it contains the strong magnetic flux of the magnets.IMPORTANT!!! The magnetic flux, because of the product design is only contained to the front side thereby protecting sensitive items on the other side. As an example, if you were to mount the magnet under a table. you can safely place a credit card or a cell phone above it without damage.Holding power: These are very strong. They will hold securely a loaded stainless steel 10+1 9mm in any position. You do not have to mount it parallel. I am using mine perpendicular just so that I can release it with some ease. These things grip.Hardware: Included are 4 sets of flat head screws with a 1/2 inch mounted depth protrusion. Also, included are four 1 inch drywall screws and four 1/4 inch wide plastic anchors without screws for the anchors.HEED THE MFG WARNING... Do not allow the two magnets faces to come near each other, they will stick to each other with a combined force of nearly 80 Lbs. Ask me how I know that????

It worked great I wanted to mount some of my pistols inside the gun cabinet in different positions this was perfect.

For a Baby Eagle with Holo site, it does not hold it well enough. In my application, the shape of the slide is such that the magnet has minimal surface area to hold it. It barely holds with the magazine removed, but will fall if the table is lightly bumped. These magnets will hold a Glock or other slab-sided slide with no problem.

These are VERY strong magnets! Just one is able to securely hold my full-sized pistol with the red dot and rail-mounted light attached. The rubber coating ensures my setup isn't scratched. Since I only needed one, I was able to install the other one in a second location in my vehicle.I will say skip the cheap adhesive strips they include. They're worthless! Go straight for the mounting screws. Depending on where you mount, you may not even need to predrill for the anchors (learned that the hard way). That's the only reason I dropped it a star.

These are great! The magnet is super strong. We assembled them by our bedside tables, near our front door and even in the vehicles. Easy to install. Anywhere you may want to place your piece for fast access!

I'm very happy with this purchase. You get four mountable magnets that will not scratch your gun. One will hold any handgun you have. Two will hold an AR. And they will hold them from any position that you can mount them, and I've tested it.

I was blown away by the quality of this. I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I saw the package ^ but it's truly exceeded all of my expectations for these magnets. The magnetism is very very strong, I almost a little worried when I slapped it on the side of the slide and I couldn't get it off easily. Also held my heaviest gun, 30-06, by the TIP of it's barrel. Just Incredible.I put my first one up on the side of my bedside table, with only the adhesive tape, no screws. Holds my heaviest handgun without breaking a sweat.Next one's going in the car. Definitely buying more.

Great price! Very strong magnets be warned if you get them stuck together takes a little effort to pull them apart. Tip: don’t pull, twist. The adhesive pads aren’t very good. You will have to screw them into whatever you want them on.
