Great concept!
I follow Anthony Ongaro's blog, so much of what was presented here I'd read before. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading this in book form. Personally, breaking the twitch to throw money at a problem is usually the first thing I do when I'm developing an interest. That's probably great for the economy as a whole, but not for my budget. I've found myself slowing down and adding items to my wish list and waiting a few days to make sure I'm still interested in that topic before making the final decision to purchase - thanks to the encouragement in Ongaro's book. It's succinct, well-written and a quick read. I hope the price comes down so more people can read it.

Break The Twitch
Have you ever considered how often you scroll Facebook, Instagram and Twitter? Do you pull out your phone anytime you feel uncomfortable or bored? If so (or not), this book is for you. I follow Anthony on YouTube and appreciate his practical brand of minimalism. Minimalism is not one size fits all and Anthony's book, Break The Twitch, will inspire you to find your own version of minimalism, especially in regards to your time and attention. I recommend this book if you are interested in simplifying and clarifying how you spend your time and energy.

Consequential
I keep Break the Twitch on my (digital) shelf right next to other minimalism favorites like The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up.Anthony’s deep understanding of the emotional underpinnings of what causes us to “twitch” (e.g. hit that one-click-purchase button on Amazon) is spot-on. His simple advice for intentional living is the antidote our tech-obsessed culture needs more of.

Break the twitch and take back your life
Anthony's concept of "breaking the twitch" has been invaluable in my life--they are words I am reminded of on almost a daily basis. Too often we end up living life on "autopilot" and/or "by default" instead of intentionally, simply, and mindfully. This book provides thought provoking ideas and questions, along with practical actionable steps to help determine what really matters to you and take back your life.

Excellent guide to everyday minimalism and mindfulness
An eye-opening reflection on just how much we lose to the indulgent, mindless "twitches" that surround us. Anthony's story was a perfect introduction to concepts of mindfulness and minimalism as they apply in everyday life. A well-written, absorbing, and positive book I'd recommend.

Decent
I liked it but for how short it is $10 seems steep. It's basically an overview of minimalism and tips to stop impulse buying. He has some good strategies in it. However if you want to dive deeper into minimalism, there are other books that get more into it.

How ironic ..
How ironic that I bought a book from Amazon that has helped me stop buying so much from Amazon! My purchase history is testimony to the effectiveness of putting this into practice - it has plummeted.Maybe Amazon will end up banning it if their sales keep falling as a result ?!

Simply awesome!
Very eye opening, understanding how the big companies manipulate us to spend more money on things that we don’t need and some very interesting point of vue concerning what might or might not constitute a great deal. Must read!

ME ENCANTÓ!
Súuuper fácil de leer y GENIAL. Te da otro punto de vista sobre el consumismo y simplemente me ha encantado. Recomendadísimo (tanto el libro, como el canal de Youtube del escritor, que se llama igual).

Bought from Amazon to stop buying things from Amazon
Short, Crisp and made for me. I could connect with the author from the first paragraph itself.
