- Backflow Incense Holder. Incense cones that have backflow effect are suitable. There is a hole under the incense, place the incense on top of the hole on the burner, light the incense. When the cone is lit rather than the smoke blowing out it is cycled into the hole that is in the bottom of the cone, the hole then allows the smoke to go through the hole in the ceramic burner, which then looks like mist in a pond or air on a mountain, or whatever!
