The media could not be loaded. The Snark SN-1 Tuner is an inexpensive gadget that works perfectly. It's features include:- chromatic tuner for acoustic, electric and bass guitars- Metronome (BPM) indicator with a range from 40-250- pitch calibration from 415-466 Hz- adjustment that allows you to tune your guitar even while using a capo.In short, this is a fantastic electronic tuner. I love everything about this little guy. It has a battery saving feature that basically puts the tuner into sleep mode after 10 seconds and then turns completely off after 2 minutes of inactivity.The BPM indicator is really handy and can be operated two different ways; either by tapping the BPM button once, which then defaults to 100 BPM and can be further adjusted to the desired BPM by pushing the up or down buttons on the back of the unit to achieve your desired BPM setting. Once it's set, the red colored, heart shaped display pulses to the BPM you set.If you use a capo, you'll be pleased to discover this tuner works easily with the capo. You simply push the "flat" button on the back to either "1"-"2"-"3" or "4", corresponding to the capo position; 1'st fret, 2nd fret and so on. Tune as you normally would and the Snark accommodates the capo position and indicates when you're in tune.The Snark has a very secure grip on your guitar headstock and it's rubber pads will help prevent any damage to your precious instrument. It's probably best to take the Snark off when you don't need it just to ensure it doesn't mar the surface of your instrument.The color dial of the Snark is very easy to read and tuning is quickly accomplished. The Snark is extremely accurate. I confirmed this with a tuning fork. It was dead-on accurate.What a great little device. Tuning your guitar has never been easier or more accurate. And it's inexpensive enough to have a couple of them wherever you need them.You know how difficult it can be to tune accurately when you're in a noisy environment? Well the Snark eliminates that problem as ambient noise really doesn't affect it. It's picking up the frequency of the string from your instrument and therefore works well even when you can't hear what the heck is going. The bright, color display clearly indicates when your tuning is spot-on.I can't think of anything I do not like about the Snark. Although there have been some comments about the tabs-that hold the ball-breaking off, I think that with reasonable care this is not a big issue. Clearly though, mis-handling the Snark-bumping it into a music stand or something-could cause the tabs to break. Just use caution and I think you'll be fine. As for battery life, I have not had my Snark long enough to comment on that. I will update my review if it seems like battery life is unusually short. Otherwise I can highly recommended the Snark SN-1 tuner..

Many reasons I have to personalize it as "my snark magic tuner". Each time I tuned my strings and played through my songs, I finished with a spirit of satisfaction for the quality sound I get after using this tuner.While it is hard to reach the peak of perfection, this little tuner works great; if I must say not fully accurate in speed but pretty much there up to about 98%, which is pretty good shape. However, the 2% low falls on my first and second nylon strings that slows up the tuning process a little; this I believe could be the result of a mix of steel and nylon strings on the guitar, and not a definite point of flaw on the tuner. I will be changing all strings to steel and see how it works, because the steel strings tune so quickly while the nylon ones are a bit hesitant to strike the notes. With consistent effort trying to tune and bring the harmony to a level of satisfaction with the pitch pipe always seem like a tough fight ending in disappointment until Snark SN-1 comes along as a solution to all my tuning problems.My guitar never tuned so good and quick before. Putting the magic on my strings, Snark helps me to enjoy playing my guitar more and more while listening to the sweetest melody in audio.Easy and quick, it hits the six strings into definite pitch and ready to amuse my fingers with what I love to hear - good sound from my strings. Take it that no matter how great a guitar sounds, if it's not accurately tuned, then the sound will be distorted and off-key. This little tuner works so great in my three weeks of ownership. On the basis of durability, I am unable to measure up due to time, but from the result I'm getting, I'm happy I had bought it; good suit for my acoustic guitar; it clips easily on the headstock with the option to rotate the tuner body and bring the display into optimum viewing.

I consider myself a serious amateur guitar player. I purchased the SN-1 in order to tune my Gibson acoustic guitar. I wanted an alternative to my larger, more conventional Boss tuner w. microphone input. A guitar salesman recommended the SN-1 - he carries one in his pocket because he demonstrates several guitars each day, many of which are slightly out of tune when he first picks them up. After reading some reviews online, I decided to give it a try. So far, I have not been disappointed.Unlike some other reviewers, I found the quality of the SN-1 more than adequate for my purposes. My unit does not look exactly like the one shown on Amazon's product page. It has a slightly darker, more metallic blue finish. Maybe it's a later, improved version. Far from being flimsy, mine seems to be quite sturdy. The ball and socket joints are a bit stiff because the item is new, so I adjust the arm with care. Nevertheless, it can be placed in just about any position I need for easy visibility. (I clamp mine to the top of the headstock.) Physically, the SN-1 is perfect for my mostly in-home playing environment. It's also light and easy to travel with. Comes with a cheap-o little bag to store it in; I also keep my spare pics there. I don't know how it would hold up under rough gigging or concert conditions.I like the bright, colorful display and the format. It's actually easier to read and understand than the display on my Boss. The sensitivity and response time seem a bit better than the Boss as well. I haven't tested the unit for absolute accuracy, so I can't guarantee that its "A" is exactly 440Hz or whatever. It's close enough for my purposes, i.e., when I tune all the strings using the SN-1, they sound correct individually and together. I haven't tried it with an electric guitar.Mine also came with a battery.I think the SN-1 has performed exactly as advertised and I have no regrets about buying it - especially at the price. If I were a pro, I might invest in a hyper-accurate piece of lab equipment that's built like a tank. For my skill level and playing habits, though, the SN-1 is perfect. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a lightweight, easy-to-use tuner.

Ich denke in der Überschrift ist fast alles gesagt.Das Produkt ist sehr einfach am Instrument zu befestigen und hält auch dort beim Spielen.Die Stimmung mit dem Gerät ist exakt und es stimmt nicht nur auf EAdghe, sondern man kann jede Seite beliebig stimmen. Das Gerät erkennt den Ton automatisch.Die enthaltene Batterie ist sehr langlebig. Ich habe sie erst nach einem guten halben Jahr tauschen müssen (obwohl ich das Gerät oft beim Spielen vergaß auszuschalten).Ein sehr gutes Stimmgerät.
