An odd but excellent mop
I bought this after reading other reviews and also after years of using and hating sponge mops. The mop arrived very quickly, and had directions for use attached to the handle. I was unable to read the material before the mop got used by a friend who came over to help me clean, and the directions were tossed out. Who knew a mop would need instructions for use.I used the mop for the first time a few days later and had some difficulty wringing it out, actually, quite a bit of difficulty; I literally couldn't get the mop wrung at all. It does a great job on tile floors, no loose mop strings to get caught on chair or table legs, but I just couldn't figure out the wringing system. One afternoon I spent some time with the mop and figured out that you slide the bottom section of the handle, which grips the mop head and rides over the top section of the handle, up the handle, then twist. Problem solved, now I can wring it fairly dry.The second odd issue is how the mop head is attached to the handle, and that it tends to separate, as in sections of mop head spreading out and not functioning as a whole. This is caused by how the mop head is attached to the handle, which runs down through it. I've been able to deal with that by vigorously shaking the mop head, when in a down position, until it falls back into place. It's just the way the mop is put together. The mop head itself is tightly sewn together and doesn't cover a large area of floor at a time, but it does a great job mopping. There's no way to attach a scrub pad to this mop, so if I need, I just place one of the floor under the mop head and scrub away. The mop holds it in place.Aside from these silly fits and starts, this is a very sturdy mop that I'll have for years. Mop head refills are available. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. I'm finally free from sponge mops forever.EDIT: I decided to email Libman for a pdf or printed instructions. I want the most out of this mop.

It works
I am a man and I needed this to clean my manly man bathroom. I cleaned in a most manly way and this mop survived the process. I didn't keep twisting the mop until it broke just to see if I could, because I am also a man who doesn't deliberately break the things he spends his manly money on. I will say that I twisted it a good ways to wring it out good and proper and it had no issues... I have no idea what people who are complaining about it falling apart were DOING with this thing! Most of the mop surface stays out of the action and you will find yourself cleaning the floor with a a pretty small area of the mop as in the product picture of the mop on the floor. That aside, I wish I'd have purchased the two pack for just a dollar more (I blame myself for not double checking and my manly tablet PC for making it so easy for giant fingers to push the wrong button) but yeah, the thing works and it works pretty well.--UpdateAfter six months of manly service, this mop is still working like a man... which is to say, it's in one piece and performing diligently. It may be time to order a new mophead but all things considered this was and continues to be, a very fine value. Assuming yours isn't defective and you treat it properly you will more than get your money's worth.

Mop! Mopaway is my new entertainment! Wow!
High Quality Mop .. MopAway (TM) Twist Mop I could never imagine mopping the floors would be so easy & delightful.I'm disabled in a wheelchair & special designed walker which I call the "CAGE." I wear a brace on my right arm, wrist & hand. If I can do it without any stress, then most of you, out there, can too.I can NOT find anything negative in this product. It absorbs as muchwater as you dunk it in. Yet your floors won't be wallowing or drown-ing in water. It wrings out so very easily. It takes very little effort. Years ago, I remember my mother saying she likes to "damp mop"the floor. Now I'm getting along in age and I've got to tell you, I've never had the experience of damp mopping a floor. No matter how much I would wring out the water, the floors would still be flooded. Now this is before I became disabled. This mop wrings out the water so easily & completely, I'm having the time of my life "damp mopping" my floor. When finished with the floor, I rinse the mop out in fresh water, wring it out, then I stand the mop head up to dry. Surprise! It drys quickly. Rev Pat

Great mop... for small places
I just tried this bad boy and I must say it's not a bad mob. I managed to wash it and rinse out the dirty water with out ever having to touch the mop. The mop itself doesn't have a very big cleaning surface so i docked of a star from the score. I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment but anything bigger would require a bigger mop. The rinsing mechanism is looks to be pretty solidly built but only time can tell if it can stand up to wear and tear. overall great mop.

Good quality...except mop-head connector
Like several other reviewers the mop initially seemed high quality as the pole is sturdy metal, the 'mop-wringer' mechanism works nicely and the mop quality is decent (although the mop-head strands could be thicker). The real problem is with how the mop-head connects to the pole. The mop-head is attached using plastic strips and a velcro-sponge top. The plastic strips break easily and the sponge-top disconnects which renders the 'mop-wringer' mechanism useless.I've used this mop less than a dozen times and have repaired it twice...now it's not repairable. So, save your money and look elsewhere. When I find the perfect mop I will add to this review.

Decent mop
This mop works well for my apartment, not sure I'd like it if I had a hpuse with lots of hard floors. It doesnt lock in place when you are mopping. It does wring out VERY well, so it doesn't flood my floors and take forever to dry. Bottom line- worth the $12.

Deceptive appearances
It looks great, description sounds good, but it leaves too much water on the floor. It is not possible to wring it hard enough to get a dry enough mop. I have hardwood, and this mop must be followed with a dry microfiber dusting mop. I am very disappointed in the amount of work it creates. It does not do a better job than my old mop at cleaning. I would not recommend this for anyone with hardwood.
