Good but...
I agree with other reviewers about the organization of the book. It leaves a lot to be desired. The testimonials scattered throughout, are fine, IF at the end of the book you can list all the meals for each type of day, and in an ebook link to the recipes. Having to thumb through it any time you are looking for a meal or recipe is more than a tad annoying. In a hard copy, have the meals and then the recipes-- all the lo-carb and then regular carb days. That said, I lost 8 pounds in the first two weeks, was not hungry, and happily lost most of my sweet cravings. And any recipe I used, I enjoyed. I can see this concept working long term.

like any program
The ideas are not new and I'm sure they would work if you stick to them, like any program. What I did not like was the misleading title. I'm way past doing hours of exercise every week and participating in a diet that restricts so much it's impossible to maintain. So I was very interested to see what a 2 day diet entails. Silly, lazy me should have known better than to expect that it was really 2 days. It's not. It's do one thing for 2 days, then do something else for the next 2 days, then a third thing for another 2 days. By the time it's all said and done, you're up to 6 days of doing something. Sigh.

Try this diet; it doesn’t get any easier.
I can’t believe I purchased this book several years ago and never bothered to look at it until last month. In the past year, I have looked at several diet plans, and after coming to a complete standstill, gave the thought of losing any more weight completely up. I thought, erroneously, that this was another of those books where two days a week I have to basically starve, my stomach growling all day long, and the total emptiness of it keeping me up when I want to sleep because I am soooooo hungry! I was wrong! This book actually combines the idea of a low carb, almost carb-free diet with a regular eating plan. And it actually works! The book outlines a plan where for only 2 days a week, you eat tiny amounts of carbs, and the other 5 days, they are added back in. How clever is that??? There is none of that: if you accidentally slip up, you end up going on an out-of-control carb binge; you don’t have to live a life without carbs and lose weight. The diet has a reasonable five-day jump start, and after that, an outline of servings from each category comes into play. You can basically use the guidelines to create your own menus or follow the books recommendations. The flexibility is amazing! The book even tells you that if you end up in a situation where you were invited out to dinner, or something like that, and wanted carbs, just make that a regular carb day and plan another day for one of the two low-carb days that week. The regular days, are days where you do watch your meals, but with the guidelines, you wont feel hungry and you’ll be able to eat things you like. There are recipes that I would actually eat, and let me tell you, I don’t have any interest in ultra-strange health foods. Try this diet; it doesn’t get any easier.

Keep your body guessing.
I wasn't wild about the recipes. I have adopted the concept. We eat low carb 2 days a week we eat meatless one day a week and we stay between 1300 and 1700 calories per day on the remainder of days. It is easy to stay on the program. My wife and I are both loosing weight. We started the diet before the book arrived. I like my recipes best.

2 day diet
I feel this type of book would be easier to read in hard copy because I had to spend a lot of time hitting the next page button to get to the recipes. I have no problem reading other's success stories but felt the same subject matter was repeated a lot. I'm sorry I purchased this book as an e book and will probably purchase it in hard copy.

Easy, Helpful, Healthy Diet Book
For so long, I wanted to lose "a few pounds" and then maintain my new weight. "Will power" is not the answer. The answer is eating correctly, the right foods at the right time. The Two-Day Diet by Sari Harrar is the best book I have read about a diet. Harrar's book is about how to eat and live...not about deprivation and rigidity. It has inspiring stories by women who lost weight, and more importantly, got healthier. The book contains information about eating in restaurants as well as eating on the go. This book inspired me to change. I lost weight: after three weeks there was a noticeable shift in my weight, stamina and health. Now, I have maintained my current weight for over a year. Harrar's book is excellent, easy to follow. Her advice fits with the science of good food, good health, good energy.

2 day diet
Was not as good as I expected. It really didn't tell much that I did not already know. Actually, the Two-Day Diet by Tessa and Glenn Cooper is much better. It actually has a menu for on and off days where you can pick and choose your meals. It is much more helpful as far as meal planning.

Workable
I think the book as some good aspects to it. As others have stated, there are too many personal reviews. The book easily be cut in half. I got to the point where I just passed by them. I do feel that this is easier to do than Adkins or many other diets and I have lost some weight.
