Childrens 18 pc Tool Set Wood Case 1st Carpenter Set

I choose this rating because we were very unhappy with the product. It was a great idea, but it was not packaged well at all. The tools were not secured in the wooden case & therefore during shipping, the inside of the case got broken. It was sent in a US postal flat rate box that had been extended on both ends. It was shrink wrapped in plastic & so when it came, even though it rattled, we wrapped it for our Grandson for Christmas. It never occurred to us that it would be broken inside. We sent a message that the case was broken & asked to return it. We were told to send it back post paid in the box it was sent in. When I got to the post office, they would not return it flat rate, because it was no longer the right size. I ended up paying a lot more to ship it back then they said & was only reimbursed for flat rate cost. The company also requested an insurance claim from the post office. We do not feel it was the post office's fault. However, after contacting Amazon, amazon was great & apologized for the problem & issued us a $30 credit for the different postage. Amazon was great, not Grreatfinds. Thanks Amazon!

I loved the variety of items available and the clever design of tool box. However toolbox is made of inexpensive soft wood and pieces that keep tools in place are already breaking after one use! Level was not "level", and right angle "square" was not "square" How do I teach straight edges and quality workmanship from this? Not worth the shipping fee to return as it will cost almost as much as the product the difference of $17 dollars.

Save your money and time. All the tools are absolute junk and the box is even more pathetic. The lack of craftsmanship is embarrassing.

Save your money. I would immediately send it back but I do not want to add anymore cost to this item. I should have read the reviews and adhered to them. The tool box is awful and the tools are very cheap and week. I bought it for my 5 year old grandson but I am sure he would only break the tools as he uses some of his dad's tools already. This item should be recommended for 3 years olds. I will try to sell it if possibly 😡

When I received my order most of the parts in one of the wooden tool boxes were broken. In the other box the plainet was broken.

My son likes but the shelving is not sturdy to hold tools.

Don't get to excited about this one people.If you want to start off with good tools then go find some for your little builders. Don't fall for the cute box.

Quality was poor. Not what we expected. Carpenter hammer broke during 1st use. Overall could not recommend to purchase.
