Worst sewing book I’ve ever purchased. The title of this book is misleading. Very disappointing

Turns out I already had a copy with a different cover.

I have a degree from design school, been teaching pattern cutting for years and have a business where I make especially wedding dresses and occasion wear.I bought this book because I, from the description, thought it would be a nice inspiration. And inspiration is what it is at the most.As an experienced pattern cutter, it is no good, and if you are inexperienced in pattern cutting, keep away from it. It is uselessThe so-called informative diagrams are without any measurements, meaning that a person who has no or little knowledge of pattern cutting would not be able to to create anything wearable from them.The basic blocks may be of some use.But all in all, there are so many better books out there

This book is not for beginners. It is an intermediate level book which advances the technical skills required for more complex clothing. A working knowledge of basic blocks and how to manipulate them is required. Very interesting and helpful book.

No es habitual encontrar libros de costura con técnicas tan específicas y bien explicadas. Además, resulta muy actual con relación a la moda.

Not so much to learn from this.

Save your money, don't get this one, I should have read the reviews first.
