Very helpful for nail biting
I've struggled with nail biting since I was very young, and as an adult realized I was stimming. These caps are SUPER helpful in providing enough sensation to meet the stimming needs, while blocking access to nails and cuticles, and holding in moisture. They definitely got looser after the first few days of wear. I prefer these to gloves, as gloves cover too much and can feel stifling.

Useful to limit picking/BFRBs
While these look creepy sitting on my side table, like Halloween fingers, they are very helpful as “barriers” if you struggle with a BFRB. They prevent me from harming my scalp/hairline. The struggle is just forcing myself to wear them. They stayed in place even overnight when I have night sweats. I put them on all my fingers except my right thumb & index finger in order to still use my phone. It is difficult to do anything, especially if needing your phone/touchscreen, with them all. I can’t imagine wearing them in public, but I maybe would if they were only worn on a couple of fingers. They seem durable so far. They aren’t too tight for me and also haven’t stretched out after about a month of use. They easily wash off when I get dog fur, dust, etc. on them. So I think it’s easy enough to keep them clean and hygienic.I definitely recommend you give them a shot as an effective “barrier” tactic if you similarly struggle with any kind of skin/hair picking.

Glad I found these- just what I needed
I got a really bad injury to a (forefinger) fingertip and needed something to protect the dressing throughout the day. This does the job great–I use 2 of them together. First one has the tip cut off so it's like a tube, which extends from about 1/2" above the knuckle to the finger base. Second one overlaps from the fingertip and down by about 3/4" to create kind of a hinge. Both stay in place all day and keep bandages clean and dry. I can wash my hands, use hand sanitizer, type and everything else with it on and each evening replace everything with new. When washing my hands, the water does not pass directly through and into the bandages/ wound. At the end of the day though the bandages are wet but maybe that's just from sweat. It's a good 1/2" dia piece of missing skin from my finger tip and I dont feel any kind of contaminates or external liquids break through the barrier these protectors provide. When I only used 1 cover over the finger though at first it did, because it (the sleeve) tends to ride up the knuckle as you move, allowing water to seep in at the knuckle. But with the 2 in place as described above they form a good water tight barrier which also allows alot of freedom of movement. These are good I like them. I didnt have need for the bigger ones for the thumb, just the finger ones are what have been used. They are flexible too. They fit over the more bulky gauze wrappings when the injury first occurred, just as well as over the Band-Aids in place now. Not to mention the flesh color conceals the bandages (if you’re Caucasian anyway). I bought 2 packs and at the end of each day put the used ones in a jar with hand sanitizer rubbed over them, then when I'm running out wash them all in ph-neutral soap to re-use. I ended up buying this test-tube rack to serve as a drying rack for when I wash them: "Plastic Test Tube Stand for Drying Test Tube 6x11 (White, 66-Well)".

Sticky
They serve their purpose and they are cheap. But they are really sticky. They pick up every piece of lint and fuzz so you have to keep rinsing it off bc it looks gross or than that, protected my stitches on my finger well

Work well, inconspicuous
Having this product in different shades is a plus. Using them in performance to turn pages of sheet music.

No good for nail-biters (too tight and can’t stand them for more than a few minutes at a time)
I really wanted these to work for me as someone who struggles with nail-biting, however as folks said they’re much too tight. I have thin fingers even for a woman, and am fairly skinny/lightweight (107lbs, 5’4”), yet these were tight enough to be uncomfortable and I’ve been unable to wear them for more than a few minutes at a time. Maybe that tightness would be helpful for arthritis, but it’s unbearable for me as someone without arthritis and I can’t wear them very long let alone all the time, as was my intention. Even for the other purposes mentioned, I think it’d be hard for these to serve their purpose.

If you have itchy fingers, you might have...
If you have itchy fingers, you might have Dishydrotic eczema (aka Pompholyx, Foot and hand eczema, Palmoplantar eczema, and Vesicular eczema). Google has a lot of pictures for reference, but fair warning some are not for the squeamish.I have very small hands and fingers for an adult female (5.2 inches from wrist to end of middle finger, Ring size 4) and these are not too tight and stay on without sliding off. I use this with a small amount of 1% Hydrocortisone eczema lotion during the day and white soft 100% cotton gloves at night. These are easy to wash with mild soap and warm water. If you have Dishydrotic eczema, you have probably tried a lot of things to help with the itching and the horrible cracking skin, these are much better than bandaids and are worth a try. Hopefully, they work for you and are able to help your flare-up heal faster.
