Beautiful but too delicate to ship
These bulbs produce a beautiful, warm light, but buying ones that aren’t broken is a challenge. I bought my first one in a store and then two more here on Amazon; one arrived with a snapped inner shaft and I returned it, only to have a replacement arrive in the same condition. I then returned to the same store to try my luck that route and discovered that every box on the rack contained a broken bulb.So these tubes contain a delicate shaft that the lighting coil wraps around and apparently it’s designed to be too fragile to ship. You could probably still use the light but I’d rather not invest the money in a bulb that may fail early due to this shaft issue. At this point I’ve invested too much time.

Poor bulb construction. Didn’t survive shipping on two occasions. The glass stem is the fragile part.
