Great bed for the price paid.
I wanted a simple platform to put my twin mattress on. I don't have a boxspring for my mattress and didn't have the money to purchase one. I wanted a platform bed so I wouldn't need to have a boxspring.I found this on Amazon and it was very reasonably priced compared to other twin beds. I got it shipped to me in about a week. It came in a thin long box that was very, very heavy. There was no way I could lift it up myself a flight of stairs to where the mattress was. I opened the box and slid out pieces of it and carried them upstairs two boards at a time. I was kind of surprised that there weren't as many pieces as I thought there would be.The only real complaint I have is that some of the pieces weren't stamped with the part number they were said to have but I figured it out.It says you need two people to put this together. Not true. I did it on my own and I'm just a girl. :DIt was pretty easy to put together. I mean, really easy. Besides trying to figure out what parts were what, I had no problems whatsoever. Most the screws have predrilled holes and the ones that didn't, the screws weren't that hard to screw in.It's not a high bed, it's only about a foot and a half off the floor but it beats a mattress being on the floor as I had it.I don't' see anywhere to connect a headboard to so if you're looking to attach a headboard you may run into some problems or maybe it needs a specific headboard that doesn't have to attach to the bed, I don't know.I'm happy with it.It does have corners on it but they do include those plastic corner dohickeys to put on them so you won't hurt yourself on them. I just thought I'd add that in there for people who may want to use this for little kids. I would glue them on though instead of using the sticky stuff they give you to attach them with just to be extra safe because most of the sticky stuff bunched up into a little glob by the time I got it to stick on the bed frame. No big deal if you have glue or super glue, really.I'd recommend this to someone looking for a lower priced bed that you don't need a boxspring to have with the mattress. With mattresses and boxsprings being rather expensive, the $95 I paid for this saved me some money.

Not on the floor anymore
This is a great platform bed. It was well worth the price for me.I had no problem putting this together. I could tell by looking closely at the pictures provided with the instructions exactly where the holes should line up. You just have to look at the instructions to figure out what goes where. Don't try and rush it.Now the good things. The price. The most affordable platform bed out there.Structure. Once put together it's not going to come apart unless you want it to.All the parts were intact. Not one screw missing. Not on the floor anymore. Shouldn't have to explain this one.Now the not so good things.Instructions are fuzzy for some. I had no problem though. The top side of the platform is indeed not black as it should be. I bought a dollar can of spray paint and painted in a couple of inches around the boarder. The glue strip to hold the corner protectors in place. They suck. Use glue if you must. I did not use the protectors at all.I knew what I was getting by reading the reviews. I knew I needed to get some black paint and that I would need to be patient with the construction of it.I was worried that some of the parts might not be there but that was not the case. Everything was packaged perfectly. So I am happy with this bed overall.5 stars!

Avoid this brand of flatpak furniture
Since the pandemic started I've assembled at least 15 pieces of flat-pack furniture. I think this is the first I felt compelled to leave a review about. We know not to expect solid wood quality when it comes to flat-pack furniture, but this brand is even lower quality than the average cardboard and glue reconstituted as wood.I bought two beds from this place, the first one only had 1/3 boxes show up, and they said they couldn't send the rest so I got a refund and 1/3 of a bed. I made the mistake of ordering another (thankfully cheaper) bed from them which arrived a week after I originally needed the bed.The packing is fine, instructions are fine, but when you do receive a whole bed to assemble you'll find the materials are VERY low quality.Using reasonable hand strength and the screws they provided caused the particle boards to split in half on many parts of the bed. The top flat board for the mattress is actually multiple small pieces which don't fit together perfectly. You need to pick one edge you want to be smooth, do your best to align them, and then screw the pieces in. After screwing the pieces in, you'll notice that the screws protrude about 1/16" above the wood, which means they will catch on any loose seams of a mattress that you put on top. I would normally just drive the screws deeper to avoid this, but even with this 1/16" protrusion some of the boards are already splitting.I'm tired of waiting for a bed, and it's not worth dealing with the return process. I will see how long this bed lasts before it ends up in the garbage pile.Avoid this furniture!

Came broken in half
We ordered this in October but didn't open it til January as our daughter wasn't ready to move beds quite yet. When we opened the packaging we discovered all the boards snapped in half. The box looked fine and felt sturday when we were moving it but literally every board was broken in half.
