I am concerned that the dose recommended on the product label is in excess of what is really even safe in terms of overall health and subjective comfort.On the label it recommends taking 3-5 grams, 2-3 times per day that's up to 15 grams per day, or about 1/2 oz., about a week's worth in the package, as the package contains 3.5 oz.for example, one of the reviews of another similar product offered by amazon (costing over twice as much and getting an average of 4 1/2 stars from 47 reviews) reports very noticeable positive energizing results with a daily dose of about 2.1grams.I hope people new to ginseng will start out with a much lower dose than that recommended on the product label, and maintain that lower dose over a period of at least several days before increasing the daily dose, as the effect is cumulative.If you take a higher dose and notice yourself becoming irritable, cranky, impatient and/or having some physiological inflammatory response and/or being ready to mate with whoever happens to be nearby you might consider reducing the dose somewhat.

Maybe it’s placebo but I do feel a difference in energy. Too much in a drink can give a vegetable type taste. Can also put it in capsules. Good price too. Ginseng can be expensive!!

I tried taking 5g at a time and didn't notice anything. I don't know how it's supposed to feel.

Greater than I expected. Thus actually a great product and great brand! Also a great price for this grade and quality of ginseng. I hope this review helps because there was no written review when I was thinking about purchasing it but I took that chance and I did and boy I'm I glad I did!

This might be excellent ginseng powder. I'm not sure. I am returning it because of glaring misspellings on the packaging which led to concerns regarding lack of oversight and safety.
