Jim Curious: A Voyage to the Heart of the Sea in 3-D Vision Hardcover – Picture Book, April 15, 2014

A bit disappointed since it's a 3D book but did not include the 3D glasses.

I thought this was awesome and it brought back a lot of nostalgia for the old red and white 3d glasses. But my kids weren't as impressed since 3D has come a long way since then. Only problem is it came with only 2 pairs of glasses which caused a lot of fights since I was reading to 3 kids (not to mention I would have liked to wear a pair myself) And one such fight led to a pair getting bent up (they are only made out of paper after all). Definitely better to read it one-on-one unless you have some similar pair of 3d glasses lying around the house.

This amazing book provided lots of entertainment for the kids and adults in my family! It's got a great retro feel, since you need to view the story through the red-and-blue 3D glasses included in the book. The story has no words, but it's easy for kids to follow what's going on. There's great detail and humourous aspects to each illustration. This book got repeat reads in my house! Just a note: we found it easier to experience the 3D effect if we held the book more in an upright position than flat on the lap.

Used, came in the condition it was labeled! Glad to find this gem of a book!

Bought this book for my boyfriend's daughter. She loved it more than I could have hoped. The 3D works better than expected, and it was fun to be able to walk her through the complex images and ask her to tell a story about them. It was great for creative thinking and a nice way to get to talk over new concepts.

My 4 year old loves looking at the pictures with his 3D glasses. It's kind of a large book, but we brought it on a long plane ride, have brought it when we know there might be a long wait. Works like a charm!

Wow!!! Heard about this book ob a podcast and I had to check it out. It did not disappoint. The 3D is amazing. It gives real depth to this underwater world. If you are a fan of comics then you need to check this out.

The illustrations are wonderful and more engaging than you would think. The visual story (no text) is of epic proportions, or maybe just a dream. Either way, the kids dig it.

A xmas present for my boyfriend and was a fun addition for guests on xmas day. Also comes with two 3D glasses. The illustrations are beautifully intricate with lots to explore and the 3D results are amazing!! This is a b&w graphic novel which works so well and although there isn't any written narrative or dialogue, the imagery directs and speaks for itself! Would suit all ages too.

So sorry that it didn't bring the glasses. It was not specified on the description that the book was not going to come without it!. we can not read it until we get those glasses and we don't even know were to find them :(
