These are very wide - be sure to check order once in cart!
Bought these for our 3 year old. Adorable, however, just be sure to check the item once put into your cart... there is no mention on main page about width, however, once placed in cart, it says Wide - width "D." (we did not know this 'til it was shipped to us and I went back online to investigate). the little shoes were gaping open when our daughter walked in them.If your daughter has a wide foot - no problem. If so, maybe shop for a different shoe?

very pink wit toe ribbons
my daughter is a 9.5/10w toddler size and I got her an 11.5 wide...small thought it fits her. I'd say it is pretty close to go up a size or even 1.5 because there are bows on top you can use to tighten tip of shoe. These were smaller than the one I got on here by :(Theatricals Child Economy Leather Full Sole Ballet Shoe,T1000C)-size 11wide and this style was larger at the smaller size. you can copy paste it. This order is pinker though, and similar quality. If the girl wants a pinker shoe...this is it just go up a size and tighten the strings so they grow in. It was less than an inch longer however both shoes are seriously narrow.

I would buy again!
I can't believe I keep seeing reviews saying the shoes run small! My daughter wears a size one sneaker, but man I measured her foot at a 13.5 so I ordered that size in the width "b". They were both too long and also too wide. I exchanged them for a 12.5, width "a". I will update the review when I have had a chance to try them on her. She is 6 1/2 years old and very long for her age but apparently has very tiny & narrow feet!These seem to be very professional looking and good quality belly slippers. I look forward to purchasing more of the shoes in the future. The color is very nice.

nice- quick ship
I ordered my daughter's normal shoe size... and they fit perfectly. If I had ordered a size down (as the instructions advise) they would have been too small. My daughter has a narrow foot... I wanted to order the "A" width, but they weren't in stock and I needed them right away. Even with the normal "C" width, I was able to tighten the drawstring bow enough to fit her comfortably. And I was happy that the elastic strap didn't need to be adjusted for her, as I've had to with other brand slippers in the past. Overall, a nice enough. I would purchase again. I'm please with Bloch (their tights are the BEST). And these shipped REALLY quickly.

You do have to adjust for size like some reviews say, we bought 1/2 size bigger. it didn't take my daughter but 5 minutes and momma had to repair them. it really upset my daughter and she thought it meant she wasn't going to be a good ballerina. it was a good lesson for her to realize that everything is junk nowadays. this product is a lounging slipper with a bow and strap that falls off.

Absolutely adorable, perfectly pink and comfy, but sizing is way off-order at least a size and a half larger
I am taking off a star because of the ridiculous sizing issues with this item-the shoes are absolutely adorable, comfortable, and perfect for my 2 year old's first ballet class.Sizing is terrible. I read through dozens of amazon reviews and tried to find sizing guides online before I purchased this item. Based on my research showing that they run small, I decided to get a 9C for my 2 year old who wears a size 8 in street shoes. I was shocked when they fit with the longest toe right at the edge of the shoe! I am returning them for a 10C which is only 1cm longer than the 9C to give her some room to grow. Hopefully they are not TOO big.

Perfect for your beginner little ballerina
My daughter is 3 and just started ballet. At first I was desperate to find something she could use while I was looking and purchased a pair of Danskin satin-ish slippers that they have available at about any Walmart. They worked ok until I got these in the mail, then the others seemed subpar. These came in a little official looking flat box and at first I was worried that they looked tiny. My daughter wears a 9.5 shoe in toddlers right now and I ordered the 10c (not quite sure what the c is for) so they'd last her a bit. The difference between these and the other shoes is amazing. My daughter LOVED them and put them on right away. I loved the little bunnies on the inside and the fit...exactly what I had hoped for. There was a little bit of room in the toe and since that is what I was going for, I was very pleased. They smell like leather and for some reason, that makes me happy, lol. I'd say that I am very very pleased with my purchase and will order Bloch again for future ballet shoe needs.It has been an entire season of dance for my daughter and I just wanted to say that these shoes have continued to work wonderfully and have stayed gorgeous. Now that my daughter is about to need a bigger size, I will definitely be getting these in a bigger size. Can't say how happy I've been with these shoes. I'm also about to try out the tap shoes by Bloch and will write a review for what I think about those as well.January 20153 years later, I still think that for 2-5 year olds, these shoes are the perfect starter ballet shoe. Now that my daughter is 6 and they no longer even sell these in her bigger girl size, we prefer a split sole for flexibility and the classic ballet peachy color of Capezios. We are currently buying her Capezio Love shoes because they don't have the pesky string in front and because they're a split sole. In the future when she can't fit into the Loves, we'll go back to Bloch and buy the Prolite Hybrid shoes.

Quality Ballet Slipper
Bloch makes the real-deal in ballet slippers. My only complaint is that I ordered an 11M as it was listed in the top of the size options. I was sent an 11D which is the widest option. If you continue to scroll down in the size options, you'll see the A, B, C, D choices. They should remove the top list of "M" sizes because it's deceiving. My daughter is somewhere between an A and B so these need to go back and I have to wait for the new ones to arrive.
