Stainless Steel Backsplash, 36" X 30" with Hemmed Edges

It's not easy to make a large flat piece of sheet metal and keep it cosmetically perfect until it gets to the customer. Their packaging survives UPS by adding a wood frame around the perimeter. It comes with a plastic coating they you have to peel off. That takes a few minutes but the plastic keeps it from being scratched during fabrication, handling, and transport.We use ours as a temporary stainless shield to cover our subway tile backsplash during frying. That's why the photo shows a little gap at the top. The white tile with white grout was not the perfect choice for behind the stove - for cleaning. If we did it over again we would consider installing the stainless permanently.

Needed this to finish off my backsplash of stainless steel embossed to look like tin tiles This gives a very smooth area that is easy to clean behind my stove top. It was easy to put up but make sure you use a glue that is good for metal. Mine came with a film finish protector, I peeled it around the edges and waited to peel it off the front. it looks fantastic, and at some point I will post a photo. Again this makes a fantastic easy to clean back splash for behind the stove top, I clean with glass cleaner so it doesn't streak and then use stainless steel polish occasionally.

This is an excellent product. Fortunately it fit EXACTLY into the space above my induction cooktop, and behind the stainless steel pop-up vent hood. It created a seamless design in my kitchen!! Easy to keep clean.

Amazing packaging. 10 stars. The order was delayed big time on FedEx part, and thought for sure it would be dented - NOPE! The seller had this product so well packaged with wood trim pieces on all 4 edges . The backsplash was delivered in perfect condition. Great product, fast shipping on sellers part and very well packaged. Highly recommend.

This item was supposed to be polished, is brushed. The fact it wasn't polished as described would normally get it returned and 1 star. However, I actually wanted brushed. I ordered it because it was cheaper and magnetic. That said, it is brushed stainless true to size, nicely hemmed and magnetic. I used Gorilla contractor cement and followed the instruction that came with the metal to install it. My wife loves it.

I am so impressed by how well-packaged this was! We are thrilled with the item and it works PERFECTLY - but I just have to comment on the care taken to ensure it was shipped and delivered in perfect condition! This shows such attention to quality - THANK YOU!

We ordered the backsplash with the hemmed edges for both safety and for the hemmed edge look. The item arrived quickly and in good condition. HOWEVER, both upper and lower corners on the vertical sides each have about an inch that is NOT hemmed, and it is very noticeable and looks odd. Essentially four nicely folded edges with an inch "gap" at each vertical corner. Not sure why, but now we have to figure out a way to hide them, meaning we will have to cover the hemmed edges completely. Had it been completely hemmed, it would have been 5 stars. As it is, this is a noticeable flaw that impacts the design we had in mind for the kitchen. I have not been able to find another backsplash the same size that is also magnetic, so it's this or no stainless at all....sigh.
