The product just arrived last night & I tried it out immediately. I'm working on a handmade keepsake box, and I ran out of the double sided tape I'd been using. Comparing this to the tape I had been using: 1) This tape is easy to tear with my bare hands, making it easy to use; the tape I had been using had a vinyl-type liner, which means I had to pick up my scissors every time I used it. When making crafts, I often need both of my hands to hold the object, so using scissors is very awkward. I really like being able to tear the tape with my hands. 2) This holds just as well as the more expensive tape I had been using. A good, solid hold is important. 3) It is true to size. I once bought some double-sided tape that wasn't as wide as I thought it was. That particular tape did not have the width listed on it; that should have been a red flag. The liner appeared to be 1/2 inch long, so I assumed the tape was 1/2 wide; it wasn't. It was only about 1/4 inch wide. I was duped, but I learned my lesson: never buy double-sided tape if the dimensions are not clearly marked on the package. This tape says 1/2 inch & it IS 1/2 inch. 4) This double-sided tape is a great bargain. Compared to other tapes I've used, this is longer & less expensive. If you divide the price by the length of the tape, you will be able to compare the price per yard (or per foot or inch) I won't do the comparison for you because prices vary & what you pay may be slightly different than what I paid. Just remember to compare the length in the same measurement. Some tapes list how many yards, feet or inches long they are, which makes it difficult to compare the price per unit. This product is 42 YARDS long. Other products I've seen are 27 yards long or so many inches long. If you don't have a calculator handy, this product is 126 feet long or 1,512 inches long. This will help you to compare it to other products.

I was looking for an alternative to Scor-Tape because of the cost and availability in my area. (I have to order online). I was pleasantly surprised by the positive reviews Angel Crafts double sided tape received. I had ordered some with the intention of using up my Scor-Tape first, then using the Angel Crafts Tape for the remaining projects I had planned. The company is in direct response to my purchases and asked for an honest review, if I wasn't pleased to send an email to the President of the company and explain what was wrong with it. Well, I am pleased as punch that the Angel Craft tape is as good if not better than Scor-Tape. I opened my tape today and have been crafting with it all day. It's amazing! With Scor-Tape coming in only rolls of 27 yards and Angel Craft tape coming in rolls of 55 yards, that is a noticeable difference. Yes, Angel Craft tape is more expensive (I paid $10.55 a 1/2" roll) but you are getting more on the roll, even 2 rolls of Scor-Tape is more expensive with less yards than 1 roll of Angel Crafts tape. It's definitely worth the money. I have found this tape to be a bit stickier and with a little more holding power than Scor-Tape. I am a fan for life. Don't change a thing, Angel Craft!!!

This is really great double sided tape for craft projects. It has a strong bond and the paper is easy to peel off when you are ready to use the second side. I like that you can tear it with your fingers if your scissors aren't handy. I hate how once you open a spool of ribbon it will no longer stay wound around the spool nice and tight!! I take a small piece of this tape and put it on the side of the reel of ribbon, which is usually sorta glossy and waxy, and stick the tail to the tape. It holds it in place beautifully and the ribbon can be pulled off and put back on the little piece of tape many, many times. No more rolls of ribbon with ends hanging out everywhere! I have both 1/4" and 1/2" and love them both. You get a huge roll also. 42 yds is a lot of tape!

I really like that you can tear the tape rather than needing to cut it with a scissors. It has a really strong bond and seems to hold well. I didn't have much trouble picking the backing off once the tape was applied. My big complaint is that my roll has super thin strips of the tape and backing (hair-like strips) that are stuck all along the side of the tape. So when I use it, I have to pick those "hairs" off. Those are hard to remove since they're sticky too and they stick to the tape part on my project. Otherwise, it seems to work great.

i think this may have just become my favorite tape! the best thing about it is how easily it tears and how strong it sticks ... what we look for in a tape right? i love that it tears so easily because the last thing i want to try to do (with arthritic hands) is be in the middle of a project and have to try to cut the tape and hold the object and my project all at the same time ... (i hope that made sense) i am a messy crafter and one less thing on my little table (scissors) is a big help to me~ and it is super strong which is really great because that is usually what i am looking for, however, like others have commented it is nice to be able to have a short time to position it first and this tape provides for that, too!42 Yards! wow! that is a lot of adhesive! this is just a great product and i will definitely be getting some more! i highly recommend this adhesive! go get some! i purchased both this 1/2" and the 1/4" as well!

I have an online greeting card business and a few of my designs require adhesive. I bought this to replace the scrapbook adhesives ez runner grand dispenser & refill that kept jamming on me. This double sided tape is easy to apply and very sticky. It can be torn or cut with scissors. I found that it's easier to peel the backing if you cut it with scissors.

Very good product. Backing peels off very easily. The sticky part runs the full width of the tape, so you don't have to make any adjustments when sticking on edges and it is very sticky ! Ideal for any craft projects.

This product is advertised as 55yards long but the one that arrived said 42 yards

Wollte meine Lichtstrips damit befestigen was erst sehr gut aussah, aber am nächsten morgen lagen die Strips auf den Bodeb, kann sie also nicht dafür empfehlen.

Me llegó muy rápido y el producto se adhiere muy bien. Hay que coger el truquillo para despegar la protección pero cuando te haces con ello fenomenal. Muy recomendable para trabajos con papeles y cartulinas. queda un trabajo muy limpio
