Flip-Tite 8pc Canister Set (NLZU4A2-1-060) -

I bought a few of these containers at my local grocery store and really love how they look. I then purchased the set of 8 from Amazon. I put potato chips in a couple of the containers and am not convinced they didn't stale after a week. I live in Houston and the humidity is high all the time so I am factoring that into my review. However, if they are truly airtight, this really shouldn't have an affect. Anyway, I will continue to try these containers out as I love how organized my pantry looks.My biggest objection is the seal on the lid. The instructions state the base of the container is dishwasher safe and to hand wash the lid and dry thoroughly. This is exactly what I have done and I find that water gets trapped around the seal of the lid. So I called the company and talked to a man in Chicago named Jim. He was very helpful and had one in his hand while we spoke. He said it would be fine to remove the seal and then squeeze out the water. He also stated that if I wanted to put it in the top rack of my dishwasher while it is on the dry cycle, that would probably help the drying process. I probably won't do that but he gave me an idea. I will hand wash the lids, remove the seals and use a hairdryer to help the drying process.Overall, I really like the product; however, I do think they need to do something about the seal trapping water.

This is a good product but needs to come with a slight warning. The lids are collapsible to some extent. When cleaning I recommend you use a moist cloth on the lids rather than placing in a dishwasher. Though it is dishwasher safe water DID get inside the collapsible part of each of the lids. Thankfully I caught it early. I had to squeeze the tops to release the moisture trapped inside. An issue of this nature could lead to mold and/or mildew if not taken care of. Other than that the product is good and does a great job at keeping items in an airproof chamber thus extending their shelf life.

These are very clean-looking canisters, and the assortment accommodated my various-sized packages of pastas and sugars. I particularly appreciated that the set does not include that very small, and often useless, size that many sets include. They seal and stack nicely and are quite attractive on the pantry shelf. Two things to keep in mind -- 1) don't immerse the lids, just wipe them clean, and 2) know that the containers cannot be filled to within nearly an inch of the top to allow for the lid to insert. If you can live with those, you'll love these canisters.

Handy air tight food containers. Rectangular and square shapes make for efficient stacking in cabinets. First order arrived with 2 cracked containers. Amazon refunded purchase and I returned that set. 2nd set I ordered arrived fine.

Of all the containers of this type, I prefer these above all. They provide a wonderful seal, keeping contents fresh, and are durable and attractive. Multiple sizes provide the right container for everything! They stack and organize neatly and make my pantry look like organizational nirvana!

One of the containers was cracked. There was no noticeable damage to either the outer carton or inner box.

I was super worried I might get these and they'd be cracked as I've gotten a lot of these over the last couple years from the stores and always manage to grab one that is. But, they all came nicely packaged and crack-free. Now my pantry is nicely organized.

As far as organizing they are good, but they came with flaws and one lid didn't have the gasket as a result the lid was use and not air tight. I would not get this kind again.
