Ridiculous inlet restriction for the 1/2" size
Why purchase a ball valve if the limiting opening is so much smaller than the internal diameter of the inlet pipe? If you want full water flow from your hose, purchase something else. That 'hex key' inlet in the photo measures 7.5mm across the flats which means your cross-sectional area drops by over 60% compared to the 1/2" ID of the pipe.

Easy to install and use -- turnoff felt mushy -- cutoff washer was split
After install cutoff action felt mushy; replaced cutoff washer with harder neoprene washer (see pic); now cutoff is solid;I would have liked the hose side to have more thread similar to the one I replaced. It was leaking after about 25 years of use; but I must say this sillcock does the job and no leaks so far.Installation requires removing the old one --about 10 minutes total; turn the water OFF! and drain the pipe you're working on -- make sure you use two wrenches -- one to hold the water nipple coming from the house and the other to turn the old sillcock so that the house side water supply is not damaged as you remove the old sillcock. There are some youtube videos showing the basics; I used teflon tape to seal the nipple threads prior to twisting the new sillcock

Really cuts down on the flow rate. That's the good news.
The pass-through opening really cuts down on the flow rate. For most applications, that might not matter, but we have low (45psi) water pressure at our home and need to avoid putting restrictions in the system. I wrote a review on this faucet a few weeks ago when I first installed it and mentioned the above. But recently, the faucet has become harder and harder to open/close. Disassembly revealed two significant details. The reason for the difficult operation was the junk seal washer that had expanded to the point where it bound up tight in its bore. And then, as you can see in the photo, this manufacturer decided it was a good thing to save maybe three cents by using a common steel screw to hold the rubber washer down. In just a few weeks it had rusted to the point where my screwdriver would not work in it anymore and I had to use a vise-grip to remove the screw. I have NEVER seen a steel screw used in a faucet before. Bottom line: Find a different supplier of faucets. I recommend sticking with standard name-brands of plumbing or garden supply sources.

Awesome hose bibb
We have had issues with our outdoor hose valves leaking, especially from the handle. Given the screws rust and lock into place we new we need a new design. This was extremely easy to install, no issues with leaking (only after a month though) and turns on and off perfectly. Great quality and already bought another to change out our other valve.

Great, no more leaks.
I bought a 10 year old home that had two out side water spouts that just leaked terribly when turning on my hose. Bought two of these and not a single drop of water gets wasted.

Loud noise!
Installation went fine but didn't use it for a while, till I started watering my lawn. NOW it makes a Loud Rumbling noise when half open! Which can be heard thought out the house. Not sure what the problem is but my old faucet didn't make any noise. It doesn't leak.

SO MUCH BETTER!!!
I wish I knew about these fantastic valves years ago instead of having to put up with all the tiresome turning-turning-turning of standard faucets from on to off positions that becomes a real nuisance when having to turn the water on and off frequently!I HIGHLY recommend these, especially, for people with limited hand dexterity for their ease of use. ~ I changed all my outside faucets to these models and LOVE every one of them for their ease and SPEED!!!

Build like a tank!
This is a very well made valve! Much smoother action than most and works better than any I have ever purchased at any of the large chains. Quality is everything to me and these valves did not disappoint!

Does the job
Quite happy with it compared to my previous one. Doesn't always close properly unless turned tightened quite strongly, but does the job.

not a great quality, one stopped working after a month or so. Seriously what can possibly go wrong with a tap?
