Crochet Baby

So, excited to learn how to make a crochet blanket for my great granddaughter

I am very happy with this purchase.The pictures are in color and the patterns for the items on the front cover are in the book, which is not what you get from all of the books.(like the waste of money ‘Crochet Mastery 7 books in one’ only has QR codes for YouTube videos and the pictures that are in the book are black and white)

I’ve only made a couple of items from this book, but they’re very easy to make and very fun to make. I have given everything away so cannot show a picture, but I’m currently making the bunny blanket for about the sixth time because everyone wants one!

Beginner book. Patterns are cute and easy. My only issue is that so far the patterns I have tried are very ‘off’ with sizing / measurements. So, if you are a beginner, you will want to be able to make adjustments to achieve your final results.

I've already made a hat and mitten set, baby booties, and a hooded scarf. I love how simple the projects are, and instead of a looped ring, I made a rattle ball, and a rattle with a handle. The looped ring is in the book, but the rattle ball and rattle with a handle were of my own creations. I plan on giving these away as gifts to someone that's expecting along with other handmade items.

As someone who has never crocheted before, this book was a wonderful choice for getting started. The first section has great step by step how to's with pictures for starting, changing colors, finishing, and how to do each type of stitch.I decided to start out with the striped baby blanket, and was able to get it going just following the how to's in the book.I'm not personally too excited by the limited selection of patterns included and will be sourcing another book with more options. However, this one - Crochet Baby - is a valuable beginners resource that I'm sure I'll reference back to frequently. The price is also great in comparison to other baby pattern books available.
