Encouraged by God's grace
This has been an encouragement to me as I have delved more into God's grace. It does explore the Greek behind the many verses, which can be quite bit tedious, but I found it very helpful to get behind the meanings of God's Word.

Dense but thoroughly Biblical
A well laid foundation of soteriology rooted in scripture! There is clarity about the relationship between being in Christ, faith and repentance, sanctification, regeneration, justification, the call of Christ, and other soteriological relevancies. There are also thorough Biblical definitions for each.It is convicting, challenging and practical for one who beholds and fully embraces the truth it speaks of.

A must read for all those who are disciples of Jesus Christ.
A very good introduction to and study of the Gospel of Grace.I grew up in a very traditional church where grace was never preached, at least not in its fullest. This book really helped to clarify some of the inconsistencies that I experienced in the church. The writing and ideas, though highly intellectual, are very clear and easy to understand. The author takes a Biblical exposition approach to his writing style, which has the feel of an in-depth Bible study. All the major ideas especially those that are sensitive are dealt with directly and supported by Biblical text.A must read for those who are teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and who wish to communicate the Gospel of grace to both believers and unbelievers alike.

This book is worth reading. Sometimes I felt he got a little bogged down on a particular aspect that somehow resonated more for the author than it did for me, but I appreciated reading his view of the wondrous grace of God.

review
This book was well researched and written. It argued from Scripture the true nature of salvation. When I say argued from Scripture, I mean that the author used Scripture to support his argument based on its meaning in context. This book was a thorough discussion of the whole salvation process including the impact of human depravity on man's fitness for salvation. The author demonstrated that salvation is a work of God and yet man still has some responsibility for his salvation as well. God doing what man is unable to do because of his fallen nature but then man responding in obedience through faith and repentance which are distinct but inseparable aspects of that which he call conversion. I believe this book is a good read for any one who wants to understand a reformed view of salvation.

Excellent depth and easy to read
It was assigned to a child in college so I picked it up and started reading. Easy to follow. Lots of deep topics that he addresses in a fairly comprehensive way. Makes it clear when he says what his position is, even if I do not always agree with him on non-essential points.

Still learning from this book
I am an my third reading of this book during the past five years. Every time I read it, I am blessed by it and learn more. It is quite informative without being so heavily scholastic that it is so dull and overly dogmatic. It does bring one closer to Christ and the amazing grace of God. Thanks Tony

Good purchase.
This book was recommended by a friend and his description of the content was something that revolutionized my perspective on my walk with God. Knowing how profound that conversation was, I knew I had to study the matter more in depth. This book is extremely well-balanced even though I don't agree with every point. I believe the author does a great job providing his material in way that supplements your existing theology without feeling pushed to adopt his.
