Splice knife is one of those tools you didn't know you needed
The only reason I bought this one is because I lost my other one. My coworker told me I needed a splice knife and I could never figure out why till I bought a set that came with one. I will always carry one from now on. I use it all the time. It is super durable and lasts forever (unless you lose it like me). Would highly recommend.

Most used knife in my bag
I use this more than I use my razor knife. It's got the perfect sharpness to strip wire without gouging the copper, it's not nearly as big as most cable splicing knives, but it strips big wire no problem. It's also my "go to" tool to peel jacket off of romex - doesn't nick the wires insulation like a razor can be prone to, and it's stiff enough to get back in a box and chop it off back there. This is the second one I'm on now, the first one got worn down to a nub after years of use. I sharpened the last one on a tube from an old knob and tube ripout for many years before it got hijacked, and i had to buy another. Just hope I don't have to buy ANOTHER because 10/10 I will if this one comes up missing.

I use this thing 5 days a week. If you’re an electrician or lineman this is a great purchase. I don’t write reviews without testing it for a little while and I can honestly say this is a great knife. It’s never let me down.

電工ナイフをいくつか使用した中で、1番使いやすいです。また切れ味に関してはめちゃくちゃ良いというより「切れ味が落ちない」ところが良いと感じます。また、刃の部分にプラスチックのカバーが付いているのですが、取り外しが面倒・無くしやすいのでケースは専用でなくとも別途あった方がよいです。本商品に限らず言えることではありますが、ただ「電線を剥きたい」「ナイフがあると便利」と感じる方はカッターで良いです。時たまカッター使用を禁止される場面があるので、その場合に使っています。
