It is my understanding that this is the lab that supplies the researchers on life-extension, so the incredible lab studies about resveratrol and reverse aging, are using the same stuff from this particular lab. See if you can find the 60 minutes episode on it. It's expensive, but worth it.

Side effect similar to caffeine or vitamin C taken late in the afternoon
I bought this product specifically for its time release of resveratrol, so that it would act mostly in the colon, as the brush border of my small and large intestines was totally flattened about 4 years ago due to my inadvertent consumption of a significant quantity of gluten (I have an allergy to gluten).The product's side effect was quite noticeable, similar to caffeine or vitamin C taken late in the afternoon. I ended up with a serious problem of insomnia each day that I took this supplement, be it after breakfast or lunch.As far as its therapeutic effect on the colon, I did not take it for more than 6 days. So it is not possible for me to tell whether I should have noticed a difference or not on the performance of my colon. I did not notice any difference.

Not the same!
They have either changed the formula or this isn't the real product. These are capsules now and don't have the same effect at all. Disappointed...especially at the price point...i haven't ordered this in about a year due to the price but wanted to try them again and they are not the same at all.

Worked great for about 3 Months
It was better than expected the first 3 Months, weight loss increased energy etc. then I started having side effects ( the "runs") I have stopped taking it for about a week and the side effects are wearing off. As soon as I am completely "normal" again I will start taking it again with a lower dosage. I had been taking 1000 a day ( 2 capsules) 1 in the AM and 1 in the PM I am going to start with 1 in the AM once a week and gradually go up to every other day unless my side effects return.
