Great for thick hair! Quality and size works well for longer hair. It is on the expensive side, but it does hold up hair better than most other brands.

I struggle to find hair tires that can hold up my very thick heavy & long hair even with half of it shaved off from under. I am so impressed with these! At first they seemed odd because they're not exactly stretchy; i can only wrap it around twice on my bun. However once i put two of these hair ties on my bun it stays up there ALL DAY! No joke i cannot express how much time & headache this saves me no more constantly re fixing my bun all day. Im very active too i do housekeeping & cleaning labor mostly. I run up & down a lot of steps usually that would bounce my bun free or at least loose but not with these it stays perfectly in place. Also speaking of headaches these have some kinda voodoo magic lol they don't pull on my hair & create tight spots & i don't get headaches from having my bun up all day like i used to! Hands down the best hair ties I've ever used i definitely need to get more!

I have nothing to say negativity about these ponytail ties. I don't understand the negative reviews, because these are amazing! I have thick, curly hair and these are the only ones that work. I practice yoga & pilates and my hair always stays in place, especially during hot yoga and yoga sculpt. Your hair doesn't get tangled when you take it off. I know they are a little pricey, but we'll worth the money! You will not be disappointed, but remember they are for very thick hair..

I have had these for almost two weeks now and am strictly using one at a time. The one I am currently using has held up it's shape between double and triple tied up-dos. I almost exclusively wear my hair up, as it is beginning to brush my hips and it weighs, a lot. The most incredible thing I've experienced using these hair ties is the lack of weight on my head and neck. I'm not getting headaches from using these as opposed to my doubled up scrunchies I was using before, which is just amazing. I have a lot of hair that, the cleaner it is, the bigger it is, and it's wavy and generally unruly. These are great, not awkward, soft and wearable, ideal for a ton of hair, whether it be by thickness or length, from someone who has both. I'm not even worried about them losing their elasticity, as it just means I'll happily replace them with new ones and give the old ones to my cat to play with. Highly recommend them!

I never write reviews but this product is so fantastic that I cannot help myself. I have long thick hair (about 1 yard long) that consistently thwarts hair ties. I have tried everything. Normal hair ties from the drug store will snap in one use because they just can't handle my hair. Other seamless hair ties will get so stretched out in a week and I lose them everywhere because they will never stay on my wrist. But the thick GIMME Bands no break hair ties have withstood all my tests.I have been using the same one for about two weeks now, running, swimming, walking, and my everyday activities around the house and it is as perfect as it was the first day I put it on my wrist. The thickness is perfect because it distributes the weight of my hair and doesn't act like a tourniquet (like all other hair ties I have tried) and does not cause my buns to fall off the top of my head. I have noticed that the band will get a little stretched out right after I take it out of my hair but then I wear it on my wrist while I take my shower and it shrinks back to its normal size. It looks brand new and it has been used every single day for multiple hours. It has also performed really well for being in chlorine water for at least 3 hours each week.I am currently trying to restrain myself from buying all the bands and scrunchies and I think I will cave soon and buy about $100 worth of stuff because wow they are so amazing. The price is ridiculous BUT they hold my hair so well. I bought the blonde ones for my daughter. Her hair is ALWAYS in her face no matter how many hair ties, bobby pins, and hair spray. She can whip her hair around and NONE falls out. Do buy. Just steep for hair ties.
