Snap-On quality without the brand name price.
Purchased to replace 45 year old Snap-On wrench that was worn and unrepairable. Easy to adjust. I found this model less expensive from other suppliers but we had an immediate need for a replacement unit. I had to do some research to find ones with certification. I didn't want one with a plastic grip. I use a torque wrench on almost all my work, automotive and ag-industrial. As previous reviewer statedCDI torque wrenches are hard to beat for all but the most sensitive work. A lot of fasteners in use today i.e.. so called "stretch bolts" require an initial torque and then a specified angular rotation. I am investigating a digital wrench that incorporates the angular feature. At present i use an analog angle adapter with a suitable ratchet or breaker bar to effect the additional movement of the fastener.

Very well made tool
I needed a newer and more reliable torque wrench for some work I am doing. This is a well made product. I have no way ti test for accuracy but it came with a certificate of calibration so it can't be to far off. I didn't give this wrench high marks for being easy to read. Old eyes and small shiny print does not mix well.I am using this to torque up combine feeder house bats and there are plenty of bolts to torque. Some bolts take a higher torque setting and the ease of changing the setting is greatly appreciated. For some of the higher torque settings the handle could be a couple of inches longer but that is what the 1\2 inch torque wrench is for.

Certified accuracy and user friendly
I work as a calibration technician for the military and can say that CDI wrenches are often some of the best that we test. They are almost always consistently around 2% of their indicated value. That’s a feat not many wrenches can do. They come in on periodic calibration intervals and as long as they are taken care of (ie not dropped or left at their highest setting all the time) they will hold their accuracy quite well.Ease of use is great and the scale is easy to read. Very user friendly and allows you to know you are set at the proper torque value. For best results it’s always best to exercise the wrench before using it to torque down items but even without doing so this wrench will provide accurate torque values for years to come.If you are looking for a good wrench then CDI won’t let you down.
