This is real 5 pound Visco Elastic foam. It will mold to whatever body type for proper support giving even pressure over the entire body. Because of this even pressure distribution, this allows much better blood flow throughout the body. Travel mattress
Use it for a mattress topper -- great for my aching back on a trip... I lay it out over the motel's mattress and good night! Roll it up, (has a sheet enclosing it), put it in my big roller travel luggage, and head for the next town on the trip... works great. No more aching back or hips..

Good mattress pad for larger people who are side sleepers
Have had this mattress pad for a while now and it is holding up well. It has eliminated my shoulder and back pain as I am a side sleeper. It's a good thickness and density for a larger person (6'1" and 245lbs). It arrived very quickly and was easy it unwrap and open up. It did have a smell as all of these memory foams do, but quickly dissipated within a day.
