Male Beauty: Postwar Masculinity in Theater, Film, and Physique Magazines

The subtitle is important for this book. I am looking for a male beauty perspective for current consideration for a college level class I instruct. Not what I wanted which doesn't make it bad... Great pictures, fun to flip through and I did skim some of the book. It seems interesting if the content is what you are actually seeking.

I think there much picture inside. But, there in so much write.

The title and cover are completely misleading, as there is no coherent examination of male beauty.This is a salad of academic essays on plays/films with a tidbit on muscle mags thrown in at the endvery disappointing.....
