I wish this could have come with glue for Americans because I cannot find the glue that you're supposed to use. I ended up using glue that you can clearly see even though it came out cute it's not as nice as it would have been. And I got this for my daughter and I had to help her because it is not child friendly.

I really loved this kit. Considering how expensive miniatures are, at $10 it was a great value and it saved me the headache of having to gather the materials myself. When it was done, it looked great and I felt so proud. This was my first time ever assembling a kit, so it is possible for beginners to do and to succeed in. I particularly liked the design of this model as it was whimsical and charming.A few caveats, though.I am an adult, and even though the product says it’s good for children, you’d need an older child (10 minimum) or a teen with a lot of patience. It took me a week to do this, reserving a couple of hours each evening, and a lot of that was letting the glue dry.Speaking of glue, this kit doesn’t come with any of the tools needed for assembly. This requires scissors, tweezers, glue, and batteries. I made due with a regular, full-sized scissors, Elmers Glue All (which did not dry fast enough) and some tacky glue (essential!), which I painted on with a cheap tiny brush. The kit doesn’t recommend anything, so I had to listen to YouTube and guess.The kit comes complete with a very thorough, picture manual, which shows a complete inventory of all the pieces, often in actual size. It includes instructions for putting things together with lots of pictures. However, I found these were not often enough and I got confused. Not only did I have to read through the manual, I also had to go on YouTube and find someone constructing this exact kit and watch several times, whenever I got stuck. (The video I watched was called “DIY Fairy Garden in a Tin Can Miniature Dollhouse Kit Box Theatre Forest Rhapsody” by Mimiyuu.)The kit came with all the materials, but only those materials. For the brown paper especially, there was only just enough for the tree, so you have to be really careful and not waste your materials. (For the brown paper, they have a cutting guide.)Again, I found this a great value for the experience and final product I got, but I can’t recommend this for everyone. If you have a lot of patience and if you don’t mind a challenge and if you’re willing to prepare and if you can follow instructions and if you like cutting and pasting (which is most of the work you’ll be doing), this is really fun. Just know what you’re getting into.

This one is a really cute set and the instructions are the best that I have seen with these little miniatures box tins. I'll definitely buy from this seller, knowing that the instructions are in English and easy to read.There are some great videos on YouTube to help with these, I would recommend you watch them over and over again, if you haven't worked with miniatures before. Dont let that stop you from trying these, they are fun and adorable, even if it's your first time working on miniatures.You can always go back and watch the part you're working on. You'll missed some things and going back you'll see other tips that'll help you.The problem that I had was the light switch, if don't glue it right and use it more than three times it falls behind the glued wall and you end up breaking the wires attached to it trying to pull it back through the opening. However, I feel this is a problem that should be upgraded by the company itself. I feel giving a five star is being honest and maybe the company itself will fix this, it has nothing to do with the seller itself and it was partly my fault as well.This was a Christmas gift that I need to replace. Now that I know what I did wrong, however, the company needs to add a box around this in the back so this wouldn't cause any further problems. I was being very gentle in doing so and still the wires broke.Otherwise this is a wonderful little miniature.I have a few other ones to try to fix this problem before doing this one over again .I wouldn't recommend using the white glue on things that will show glue on, however, the clear glue is just fine and it dries clear. There is plenty to finish this project with.Putting your paper for the backgrounds, you'll want to make sure the glue isn't thick, using a paint brush helps if you brush it on the tin itself first and you also have a small time frame to GENTLE smooth it out, so, that you're not getting wrinkles. I didn't have a problem with this, just be sure to be GENTLE by doing this. A few wrinkles isn't going to matter too much, you're are able to hide them with flowers and the supplies that they give you.There are lots of flowers and supplies to have fun with.I would recommend these kits.I would also recommend the company itself to add a box around the attach wires behind the turn on switch, they would sell lots more of these from returning buyers and not just a one time buyer giving up on something that is easily replaced in the first place and it wouldn't cause a problem to begin with.

My daughter enjoys assembling these little dioramas. She’s has several and this is the first kit that didn’t come with the battery.

I had such a blast making this kit! I love all the little details and how you can make it your own. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. You will need wire cutters and your own glue though! The chairs were the hardest part.

Amazing project. I was worried it would be too difficult for me but it was easy with very good picture instructions! It was so fun and my first time trying anything like this. I got it to make for a gift and my partner loved it! The only problem I had was trying to find out what type of batteries it took.

Amazon didn't like my original review, so I am trying again to fit within the guidelines.Box arrived 5 months late, badly damaged. Too late to send back as the window closed.Purchase as your own risk.

I cannot believe I made it! Spend 5 hours, some items are hard to use glue to stick,but overall experience is good ! Highly recommend if you want to kill time.

I love miniatures and this little box is great. So cute!
