Libbey3779 Embassy 9.25 Ounce Martini Glass - 12 / CS

I am a Martini lover and often I get people over to share a cocktail or two. I had another set of these glasses before and I loved them. I was very happy to find them again on amazon.They are very sturdy, one piece and heavy. You realy know that you are holding a glass. The size is a bit large for a cocktail but given that you never fill it all the way to the top, it gives enough headspace to avoid spillage. One very important aspect is the fact that the entire glass is a single piece. Before I actually had a case where the top part was just detached from the stem. There is also the smaller version with 7.5 oz but I find it too small, unless you fill them to the top. The bigger size also makes them idea for serving deserts and shrimp cocktails.I grand you that the shape is not perfect and the more you look at it the more imperfections you find, but $40 for 12 of those is a great deal. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants a casual cocktail glass.The supplier also ships them safely although the container is quite huge.
