Little Quack Loves Colors (Super Chubbies)

First, let me say that my son and I love Little Quack. However, in this book, Little Quack's brother is named "Piddle," instead of Puddle like in the other books. Piddle is the word I use when the dog pees. I have so many questions and no answers here.

Our daughter LOVES this book! We've been reading it to her since she was just a few weeks old and it is still her absolute favorite at nearly 10 months. She started turning pages on her own almost as soon as we showed her how. We love the colors, the artwork is stunning, the story is one you can read 50 times a day without losing your mind... we've already started buying more copies as baby gifts for new parents.

My 18 month daughter loves the "Little Quack" books

Thanks to little quack, "ducky" was one of my "gwap-gwa," her answer to what the ducky says. This is a great book for teaching toddlers colors, and it is super durable to withstand their little hands (or teeth!), or being slid around the floor. My daughter is 17 months, and loves this one. She is already starting to learn her colors, and "reads" this book often to herself, saying "bur-ble" when she sees the color purple.

I received another one of the Little Quack books as a shower gift and absolutely LOVE it. I recently purchased this one. The pages are bright and full of colors, which makes it appealing for little eyes. It is shorter then some of the other books but it provides examples for the colors on the pages for all the basic colors to be learned.

The ducks are very cute, but for a child the colors are not the most obvious things on a page. For example, there is a page that talks about sparkly white sand. The sand is in fact tan, so it is a hard concept for a one year old to grasp when the colors aren't clear. Of course, my child loves it, so I guess it isn't a total fail!

We have all the Little Quack books! My son loves them. We bought when he was about 6months old and read them til he was 3 (at which point he knew his colors and numbers but still enjoyed the book). Great illustration for little eyes, and engaging for early learning!

Super pictures and easy to read. I want to get all the little quack books. They each talk about a skill that is important. These are good books that kids go back to again and again.

My baby is fascinated with the pictures.
