I would love to discuss with you
This book has given me so many great ideas for building my earthbags home in NC. I plan to include earth tubes in my design. I would love to speak with you about it.

USEFUL INFORMATION!
This book contains USEFUL information, with tips for installation in a variety of building types. The scientific principles are plainly explained, so one understands HOW and WHY this works, which also makes it easy to understand the modifications that one might need to make for his/her home. This book was the correct purchase for me, and I will be able to install this air conditioning myself this spring for my little house. I'd rather spend a little money on a no-fail, no-ongoing-cost system that I can do myself (I am a 65 yo retired woman with minor disability), than spend $1500+ for a big central unit (yes, and I need a concrete slab to put it on) and pay electricity costs forever. All I need is some PVC pipe and a good shovel! If I can do this, anyone can.

Good book to go with your Earth Sheltered Housing books …
…such as John Hait's "Passive Annual Heat Storage".Written in an easy to comprehend style this book makes a lot of sense about heating/cooling almost any kind of home. No fancy electrical or plumbing work, nothing to break or wear out, I think it's within the capabilities of most readers to add such a system to their home.I learned a few things reading this book, you will too.

wordy
It was wordy. Hard to follow. Interesting but not practical. I wouldn’t call it cheap. Renting a driving trencher is $300 a day.

Earthtubes made easy! This is such important info for those who want to live A/C free or off-grid.
This is a great resource! Sharon has opened up my mind to so much great information. I'm looking forward to implementing many passive solar ideas in the future natural building projects on our land. Here in North Carolina, we can still have some hot days in the summer, so to use a solution like earth tubes is a great way to live without A/C! Sharon also just came out with a book on green building that I'm looking forward to.

Lots of great info!
Ive been searching for info online for quite some time now. I plan on building an earthbag home with earth tubes underneath. This book has so much great info. I'm not sure why the author didn't get someone to proof read her book before publishing. It's full of grammar mistakes and typos. Still an excellent book!
