Gildan Platinum Men's 6-Pack Cotton Brief

Although I noted that the fit was as expected, I did not actually try them on. I had hoped, from other reviews here, that they had noted the comments and changed the stickiness of the small pieces of tape that are on the briefs.I removed the first piece of tape and lo and behold a thick glob of stickiness remained on the material. I tried the duct tape method but that did not remove all the residue. I decided that it was not worth going through the machinations that may or may not remove it. So back they went to Amazon.

I purchased this six-pack of undies for my husband after realizing that we had a few pair in the drawer that needed to meet the circular file. This brand is completely new to me. It is hard to get much information about underwear from the menfolk, but since he requested a second package, I pronounce them to be good.I am not blind, however, and these briefs are thick enough to, um, keep things in line but not too thick to be worn under business slacks. They have a slightly higher rise and wider waistband than some of the other pairs in the drawer, and I would think these features would both be good things.It's also nearly impossible to find a reasonably priced multi-pack of men's cotton briefs that is not all white, white and gray, or white and gray and black. What's wrong with a little color in a brief? I see color in every other type of men's underthings. I was happy to find these and even happier to find that they fit and were comfortable. See also: they did not shrink into little smurf undies in the dryer. They did get a little smaller, but no more or less that you would expect from a product like this.The only thing I did not like about this six-pack is kind of lame, but it's true. I love blue too. I do. But 3 colors of blue might be one too many. Variety is the spice of life. Can we have green maybe next time? What about a print?

Chemically treated with who knows what. I personally don't want any more chemicals all up in my business as I'm sweating and absorbing through my skin, especially down there! Just trying to find some normal underwear not soaked with unneeded chemicals!

I have a 36" waist and normally buy Large briefs. The Large's for these were a bit tight. Otherwise, all good!Update: After one wash, the briefs shrank to the point of being unwearable.

Outstanding, period.

Hate the Tape!!! leaves a residue that leaves a nice tape mark on my butt. this seems to be a problem with the last two brief purchases. Will not purchase again. Seems to be an ongoing unresolved issue by Gildan. will find briefs not REQUIRING STICKY TAPE!!

Bought these based upon reviews that they didn't ride up into your crack. Those reviews were totally inaccurate. Will not by again!

Rated low for A's price. These are carried at the "bullseye" department store for a cheaper price. Only the six pack grey, dark grey, and black.
