These are colorful and does the job of keeping thread on spool. I plan on buying two more packages because its nice to take the spool you want without pulling out a tangle mess. It works well with the invisible thread.

These work very well to corral the quilting thread that just doesn't want to stay on the spool or bobbin. I have used a few of the pins to store bobbin and thread spool together and they work very well.

There are probably worse things than a dropped spool of thread and a playful cat. But I don’t ever want that situation again. The pins that keep the bobbins with the large spool are very clever.
