Enjoyable and informative for children
My husband suffered a severe stroke in 2015, and we've both learned to adapt to his particular needs. He uses a wheelchair, and has great difficulty with his expressive speech. When our granddaughter's preschool was seeking "Mystery Readers", or family members who would pay a visit to read to the preschoolers, we chose this book! The children had the opportunity to meet my husband, ask him questions, and learn more about people with "special needs". We all enjoyed the experience :)

Wonderful book
One thing about this book I love the pictures and is all about everybody is the same and on the back of the book you can go in the website and get pictures of real people in different activities you can do in the end of the book

Great message. Beautiful artwork! Makes a wonderful gift!
I love the well done artwork, just adorable! Great book for any young child! Thoughtful message to share with all young children. Especially geared toward preschool through grade 2. Would buy again!

Missed the mark
While the premise is good and the rhymes are cute, I think this book missed the mark on the message and will remain off my bookshelf. The second page reads "Not everyone born is athletic or smart..." Hmmm?! I don't like telling my students that some kids just aren't smart and that they were born that way!? The rest of the book is okay and pretty realistic with nice illustrations, but one page was confusing to me and the student I read it to. It reads "Animals serve like dogs, as a guide. And monkeys well trained to help along side." This is the only "fantasy" type piece of the book so I literally had a child ask me if we can really train monkeys to help. I am not aware of any therapy/service monkeys so I think this page could be edited. Hoping to return and stick with books like "A Rainbow of Friends" and "Don't Call Me Special."

Great little book to get children to talk about differences and diversity and to understand it in simple terms.

Speedy delivery but would not recommend the book.
Delivery was prompt - the book itself is not child friendly in my opinion. I bought it for pre school age and I will not be using at my school.
