Amazing Animals: Cheetahs Paperback – April 15, 2011

My niece adores Cheetahs. She was turning 7 this year and I wanted her to get something educational as well as a cute cheetah plushy to go along with it. Success! She really enjoyed her gifts and I must say that the photographs in this book are beautiful. The facts keep it simple, easy to understand and grounded in fact (all real biological facts that have been observed in nature, no bogus theories).It does talk a little about the prey/predator dynamic so if your child isn't ready to understand yet that these big pretty kitties eat other animals then I'd hold back for another year.All in all a beautiful book, great facts and very well received by a child who admittedly already loves this animal.

This book is informative, educational and the pictures of cheetahs are great. My daughter loves this book.

I bought this as a gift for my friend's 9-year-old daughter, and even though I think it is geared toward younger children, she really enjoyed it. She is a big fan of cheetahs and there are many pictures and interesting facts.

Bought this for my 7 yr old daughter, who loves cheetahs. Was alittle too young for her. If I had bought it a couple years ago, would have been fantastic. Beautiful pictures and just the right amount of info/reading for younger. Would recommend it.

Our 3.5 year old loves this entire series. The books are very well written and can even be informative to adults. Why not learn while your child does?

These books are awesome. We have bought a few of these books for when our 6 yr old grandson visits. He reads them out to us. The pictures are beautiful. I highly recommend this series of books.
