The consistency of these are somewhere between glue and lipstick, don;t be fooled by the packaging as these are just as messy as paint. Despite its extremely fast drying time and heavy supervision, my toddler manages to get this crap everywhere, chunks of it in the carpet that cause me to have to scrub immediately before it permanently stains. Not really a fan of the fact that they're made in a country with no safety regulations either.

These are some of the coolest paint pens we have ever used. All of the kids love them, and even the adults, too! They're very bright, and wrote on multiple surfaces. They look like lipstick, and even feel like it if you press on them, but when you write with them they dry just like paint! We believe that making messes is an important part of any childhood, but sometimes it's a hassle to clean up after paint. This takes that hassle away! Basically mess free. They have gotten in our table and the floors around the paper where the kids have used them, but they are easy to wash up, and nothing has been permanently stained yet. These are great for those days when the kids want to paint, or get artistic, but Mom doesn't want a mess!

My kids have a blast when we pull these out! I loooove that we can switch things up (colored pencils and crayons get old sometimes) without having a huge mess. Real paint can be fun too, but I like that I don't have to plan ahead for these. They are easy to use and they have a nice smooth feel when you use them. They are definitely a hit at our house. They actually remind me a lot of the gel highlighters - both in the way they feel when they glide across the paper, and in the look of the color on the paper.

These are great! No mess! Dries quickly! They basically look like glue sticks, but are paint sticks instead. They leave sparkle on the paper. My son really likes them.They do look a bit like crayon or an oil pastel, once dried, if your child is in the scribbling phase.The one thing I didn't like about this set is that the colors get kind of boring, so I would like to expand our collection to be able to have more colorful works of art. The kids didn't care, though. ;)

My family absolutely LOVES these! I started using them as a review, but I have since purchased these and a few other packs with my own money because they're just that awesome.We've used them for rock pet projects, painting on poster board, foam board, and regular paper. My kids ALL love using them, from the 2 year old on up. When I saw they had metallic tempera paint sticks, I had to buy them. I'm so glad I did, they're fun!

These are my artsy daughters go to art supply. She loves to draw and almost always chooses these over any other drawing medium. They are solid tempera paint. Almost like a crayon consistency but a little softer. They don't smear, are dry instantly, and have great vibrant colors. We have the metallics, neon, and basic color set. We gifted these to a cousin and they are just as popular at their house. Great addition to our art supplies. Highly recommend!

This is a great way to introduce the idea of painting without the huge mess of watercolors or finger paints.These have a point - some other boxes don't - and that helps toddlers when painting or writing.I also like the metallic shades here - especially the gold.The only con - if your son or daughter figures out how to turn them to get more paint it can create a mess :(

These are great. My three year daughter certainly think off these like painting but she does love them. They feel like coloring with a glue stick. They do color Super easy and dry really quickly. My daughter wasnt able to take the lids on and off with ease causing one of them to dry out. The lid wasn't put on all the way. Now I'm aware I just quickly check the lids before putting up.

Not as good as the regular colors. The metallic is crumbly and doesn't adhear to the paper properly. LOVE my original quickstix, wish these were as good but sadly not worth the money in my opinion.

Great product, easy to use for children, no mess, no fuss and bright colours.

The product came before it was supposed and works great. Absoutly love the product great for when you or your kids want to paint but don't want the mess to clean up.
