The elastic band does a good job keeping the headset in place
For the price of the item, it preforms as expected. However, for a few dollars more, you can purchase a headset that leaps and bounds above this headset. That said, it preforms as expected. It holds onto your phone with suction cups that holds very well. The elastic band does a good job keeping the headset in place. You will be spending time arranging the lens searching for that sweet spot, by far the most annoying aspect of this headset. Once you found it, try not to move the lens slider ever again. The plastic quality what you would expect for the price, light, thin, and cheap.Over all, if you are looking for a starter VR headset and want to do so as cheap as possible, this is probably the best you can get. I recommend buying this only if you want to dip your toe into VR and plan on buying another headset of higher quality later.

Lacks an app
I've got a Samsung Galaxy S5.The phone fits but it's a bit too small. So small as a matter of fact that it fits with a protection case together and still manages to wobble around a little. I would of said that this product is worth it considering the price, but its really not because if I would have bought the google cardboard which is made of a less durable material [cardboard vs plastic] I would of gotten an app the would adjust itself and make the user experience significantly easier. If you guys develop, or already have, and app that can do this for me, please do contact me and I will change the rating. The wobbling, I guess I would have to find a way to fix it myself by adding a piece of paper or something inside.

A good attempted, but lacks button and it isn't designed for my face shape.
Pros:Smart design to hold the phone in place.Plastic construction is pretty solid, light leakage is minimal when put together properly.Adjustable lenses for face width.Head straps are comfortable and easy to adjust.Cons:No mag-button. Biggest drawback with this unit. I bought a mini-bluetooth controller in order to trigger key presses. (Unfortunately, it wasn't as simple as that.)This mask is not one-size-fits-all. "Dynamic" face shapes will find you having your nose crushed or awkwardly teetering on your forehead if you try to go completely hands free.No port hole for the camera, but that's easily fixed with a Dremel-like tool.Doesn't have the "scan to configure" bits that Google Cardboard now supports. (Not that it matters.)... overall, worth the purchase, but I'd get a secondary "touch" system for the screen and some foam to pad it out properly.

The focus and field of view aren't great but acceptable
Always read the reviews. I purchased this because I was impatient and delivery was quick. Its OKI'm not experienced with VR or Cardboard but had read a bit about it. I wanted these because of the adjustable lenses. the foam padding around the face and that it is enclosed in the case. The focus and field of view aren't great but acceptable. There is no magnet so hard to control things depending which AP you are using . The QR codes did not work for google cardboard profile. This company actually makes a version with a magnet so not sure why they even have this available. I feel like they are duping the unexperienced to unload inventory. It works but I wish Id paid a bit more and got something I could use more than a day or two.

Not for Iphone 6 Plus or 6s Plus
I am happy with the quality of it. Everything is fine- except for the fact that it does NOT accommodate the iPhone 6 Plus or 6s Plus. I was so excited to get this today- but so annoyed that my phone doesn't fit. I could probably chop away some plastic and it will be fine- but I will probably just return it and find one that fits.Also- it doesn't have the little mechanism to make selections. I ordered a little bluetooth gamepad to go with it- but it's really useless. That's also going back.Sigh.

Nice optical clarity
Nice optical clarity, and comfortable, secure, adjustable fit. No button or magnetic slider to select with. I made my own. Also, doesn't hold a regular iPhone 6 w/slim case securely enough to prevent jostling while using. I added 3 modifications to mine: Super-glued a small piece of foam inside to raise phone up higher. Glued a rectangle of thin card board(like that of a shoebox) under suction pad to apply more pressure to phone back, to hold phone in place. Lastly, I velcro-ed the switch I made to the side of the case.

Trades full immersion for increased comfort
Exceptional product for the price point. Larger lenses, with an increased distance between the phone and face do cause a noticable tunnel effect. No magnetic selector, but workable with a bluetooth mouse. I like the padded slots for the phone cables to fit. The pupil distance adjustment is a great added benefit as well. I wouldnt say this is an official"works with cardboard" product, but watching youtube 360 degree videos, and using google vr apps seems to work fine for me. I"m sure everybody's mileage will vary, but I feel this product is a fair trade off of immersion for comfort. Used with a Samsung Galaxy S5. While this product isn't the best possible highest end quality product you could use for vr, it's definitely a workable entry point. At the price I paid, I am overall very satisfied with the product I received.

Unable to focus, decent plastic Google Cardboard alternative
It is made of plastic that would probably break if it were accidentally sat on, but otherwise, it is better than a cardboard version. It doesn't include a magnet, but a strong fridge magnet works through the plastic, so no points off for that. The strap is adjustable, works well, and is a great addition! My biggest complaint is the inability to focus. The lenses are adjustable based on the distance between your eyes, but I have to open the lid about 1/4" in order to see the images on my phone in focus. This is the only portable VR device I have ever used, so I have nothing to compare to. Maybe all of them have focus issues since the phone is so close to the eyes. Either way, I am not satisfied. I would return it because of the focus issue, but it isn't worth the hassle in my opinion.
