My son is getting around in his walker and knocking over everything in his path. I tend to put my covered tumblers down on the floor next to the loveseat, the end table is on the other side. I have had a few tumblers from DD that have fallen victim to his driving skills. Tired of wiping up spilled drinks and wasting them, I decided it was time to look for a spill proof tumbler. This one from Contigo has made me very happy. Drinks stay cold for hours. Now, of course some of the beverage will still come out of the straw if knocked over or turned upside down, but that is to be expected of course. All in all, a great spill proof tumbler. The straw is rubber but not that cheap flexible kind, and is not annoying in anyway. The area that the straw fits into is flexible rubber, but does not move if you touch it. The rest of the cover is plastic with the metal around the ring. I would definitely buy again.

I have been searching for the perfect water bottle and I found it. Checks all the boxes on my most wanted list: leakproof, spill-proof, built in straw, easy to hold, fits my car cup holder, dishwasher safe, super ice-cold water and handsome to boot. Love it!

Leakproof and keeps ice literally for days! I like it alot. Looks nice too. Cleaning isn't to difficult, comes apart nicely. Downside is sometimes with too much ice or with too large of pieces the ice kind of gets in the way of the straw. I think with some more time I will learn exactly how much ice is needed. Honestly not much nice is needed as cubes stay cubes for days at exterior room temp.

I love that it has a straw and is leak proof . Keeps my water cold all day.I don’t like that I bought the pretty teal one and it immediately started to chip away. Now it is half silver and half teal and the pieces keep falling all over. The ice stays all day but forms around the straw as one cube so when you refill you have to be careful not to overfill when you put the straw back in.

This cup is amazing. It will not spill. Yes the top is a little hard to get off. But that is how it does not spill. I’ve found that you simply LIFT the cap until you see the black part underneath the lid, and THEN unscrew. As far as the flow of the straw goes, only the first sip is a little harder than what I’m used to. After the first sip, all is well. Again, part of the reason why it does not spill. I would absolutely buy this again!

So we have been researching a lot of cups to avoid spills. Our child has a habit of spilling like most kids do. This has been a very nice transition from sippy cups to a big kid cup. It is very easy to clean and keeps drinks cold for a few hours. Everything goes in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Note that a very small of liquid may come out if it’s tipped over. The valve that keeps most of the drink in is about an inch from top of straw

So I want to say that functionality wise the cup is near perfection. It is leak proof just like it says. The only liquid that will spill out is any small amount stuck in the top portion of the straw and it keeps your drinks cold FOREVER. However the build quality leaves something to be desired. I’ve only had this cup for just going in 6 months and as you can see in the photos the paint is stripping off the outside. I have taken VERY good care of this cup as it’s my daily cup and I love it. It’s been handwash only and has never been in the dishwasher so it’s not the high heat or anything that has caused the paint to strip off.I’m not saying not to get this cup, as it’s fantastic in every other aspect. Just pointing out that this is a potential issue I’ve never had with a cup like this before.

This is my work horse!! It does not leak, and its been thru a workout. It's flipped over in the car, its fallen on the ground, its been dropped from an SUV - no damage, no leaks.The color is really pretty.And the straw at first gave me a headscratch on how to clean it, but once I figured it out, its been easy. I got a second one to have at home.

I LOVE this product! Bought one since my sister had one she liked. I love that is is actually leak proof yet has a straw. Perfect since I have cats who like to knock things over. It does make a funny squeaking noise when it's depressurizing, but that's fine. It really does keep stuff cold for a long time. When I had ice in my water, it was still cold with some ice left after 10 hours in my car (some of that time was just sitting in the car on a 30°C day!)

Always wanted a tumbler, but didn’t want the potential spilling if I knocked it over. This tumbler is simply magic. It doesn’t spill and it keeps the water cool for a long time.

We ve had a very hot summer and even sitting in the sun it's been keeping my drinks good and cold. I love that it's a larger size so when I run a 10 km on the treadmill I don't run out of water. Doesn't leak when tipped. Love it. Very durable.

This thing is amazing and keeps water super cold for a long time, especially if you start with some ice in there. My wife and I each have one and LOVE them. Since the straw is quite thick, you do have to use quite a bit of suction to get liquid up the straw but it's really not an issue for us.
