Junie B. Jones Is a Beauty Shop Guy (Junie B. Jones, No. 11)

I did this often. My mother was a beautician. Could not understand why my dolls hair would not grow back. Junie B has heros unlike most kids. She thinks the lunch lady is cool. The hair cut person is wonderful. Of course her parents are not cool with her cutting her hair. She is hard headed and stubborn. Like most of us she has to learn by failure. Upsets her parents, a lot.

This book was so funny . My granddaughter and i couldn't stop laughing!!We love Junie B Jones and cant wait to read more.

Junie B. Jones never fails to capture the attention of my 5 & 6 year old students! They wait each and every day to hear the next chapter or two of her adventures.

All the June B books have sparked reading interest in both 2nd & 3rd grade granddaughters. School recommends them too

I gave this book a 5 star review because I really enjoyed this book. It was amazing because I love June B. Jones. I would definitely recommend you read this amazing book. Have fun reading.

My daughter and I love the Junie B. books, and this one is another classic. Junie B. imagines that, with a little practice, she too can become a hairdresser, with all of the usual goofiness. I have to give the book four stars because of the (intentional) incorrect grammar. I realize that Park writes like this because the kiddo grammar is hilarious -- for adults with a solid foundation in English. As a speech pathologist, however, I know that there are many children who will not understand the irony in the inaccuracies and who need to hear consistently correct English. I have to admit that I correct the grammar when I read the books to my daughter, but I also realize that many children are sophisticated enough to understand the irony.

A great book to get for a first to third grader that has loves to read or has not yet realized how much fun a book can be.

Silly junie B! Always getting into mischief, ( what else is new? Haha ), this little situation reminded me of what happened to me when I was young. I had gone to the barber shop, the place was absolutely magical! Sinks in rows and fun chairs you could spin in! Until, I spun in the chair while the lady was cutting it! Let's just say it did not end well. I learnt my lesson all right, just like junie BThanks for reading! :)

My 6 year old and I have been reading these books, Many people criticize for the Grammar but the character is in kindergarten, and these are her wacky and zany stories. My Daughter laughs and can't wait to find out what shenanigans she will get into next!
