One word...... EXPOSURE
Must read for anyone who desires to know the truth about masonry and the eastern star. This book was recommended to me by an ex-shriner who taught the craft for 9 years. I want to point out one thing. The OES slogan is , " We have seen his star in the east and have come to worship him". God revealed the birth of Jesus to the shepherds. The wise men were looking for the star. The Greek word for wisemen is magos and it means magician. The wisemen were warlocks who used the occult art of astrology to locate Jesus. God said that there would be signs in the heavens. Remember a perverse generation seeks after a sign. All of creation was anticipating the arrival of the Messiah. It was like a shockwave in the spirit. The fact that the OES quotes the traveling warlocks shows that nothing of God has been revealed to them. OES is laced with egyptology and is an abomination before the Most High God. Jesus is the ONLY Lord andSavior. Jesus is Lord!

Put you time to greater works of God
You have gone to great length and study to degrade the Masonic family orders. Regardless of how/why an original organization may have been molded, we're looking at hundreds of years ago history. Today is an era of openness, there are no "secrets", anyone who dulves into what the fraternal organizations are about TODAY could find people who are committed to charity, truth, and loving kindness for all people regardless of nationalities or individual religions. We in the Eastern Star do not dulve into historic beginnings. We look to the future with virtues that are essential for a glorious eternal life for ourselves and expecially for our youth. Your book trys to degrade an institution that will be forever written on the pages of history as one of proven dignity to mankind. I'm a 53 year member and proud of it.

When I discovered my neighbors were Luciferian/Satanic worshippers....
Upon my discovery that ALL my neighbors are practicing Luciferians/Satanists, I ordered a different book by Dr. Burns and given she is so thorough in her research, I ordered this one as well. Strange incidents have been happening to me and around the neighborhood for years, but I could never place a finger on the cause. Sure I thought my neighbors were a bit "off" but it seems so many people are "off" these days I stupidly excused and rationalized their behavior. Then, about a year ago one of neighbor ladies said her grandmother had been an Eastern Star. End of the story? After experiencing drama I won't go into here, I am now a born-again Christian and fight their witchcraft, sorcery, etc. with spiritual warfare in these biblical End Times. Most importantly, Christians must stay in the Word of God as we "fight the good fight." Thank you, Dr. Burns.

Truth hidden behind falsehoods
The literature has many valid facts, but insist on portraying falsehood as a narrative. It appeared too me, that Christianity was being promoted too be the one and only solution, especially on pg.73, when she stated that all sorts of unrighteousness occurred with the ancient belief systems. She tried too make it seems that all evil in society stemmed from those beliefs. If she did more extensive research, she wouldn't be to fast to throw criticism & blame, when we all can witness many atrocities occurring in the guise of Christianity.

Its accurate enough to give a general idea.
Bought this as a resource for those who wanted to know what exactly OES is. I read through it and although some of the details are not 100% dead on ( referenced with my Grandmother and Aunts as they are senior matrons), It is fairly accurate. I wouldn't recommend it as a study guide but it works as a intro of information.

Negativity Abounds
If you were hoping to learn some things you might not learn at a 'normal' chapter meeting, do not waste your time, nor money on this book. This book was not written for Eastern Star ladies; rather, it was written by someone who is anti-Eastern Star.If you want to buy in to the theory that Eastern Star ladies meet in darkness to pay homage to the devil then by all means, buy the book: However, if you are an Eastern Star, you will find this book to be repulsive; or, you could do what I did: laugh at the various suggestions the author presents regarding Eastern Star.

progressive well researched book
a progressive well researched book about the eastern star the alleged hidden branch or support fraternity linked to freemasonry by giving large thoughts of many illustrations and symbols intersected or at cross purpses between them . Unquestionably, the author , like in her other book, has used many quotations from many freemason researchers writers as well as freemasons such as albert pike to illustrate the differents symbols of freemasonry and its connections to easters star.In this respect, and in summary , three points bear in mind in this book as a connection between both the eastern star and freemasonry :*the order of the eastern star is the result of a desire on the part of the masons to afford the women of their families as far as possible the benefits and privilege of freemasonry and also to secure the help of the women in their projects.*it is an organization composed of female relatives to freemasons*There is a correlation as both orders use the square as an asset symbol in their lodges: for freemason the meaning of the square is that it portrays the material universe or the earth. As for the eastern star , it represents passing from earth to heaven.however, despite the detailed descripions of many symbols interrelated to the both orders supporting with many quotations , the fact that some fo these symbols are used as well in black magic or satanist does not mean that freemasons are satanic as the author claimed. Moreover, the fact that in one of the chapters in the book Dr burns fully believed that the accuations against the knight templars as devil worshippers or homosexuals were correct therefore the freemasons as followers of the legacy of knight templars must follow the same patters , does not hold any ground and pointless as there was not any prove whatsoever that the knight templars who emerged from the cradle of the crusaders shall fall in the author's category in their wildest dreams.
